The cold winter air of October had finally arrived at Hogwarts. Students of third-years and up excitedly waited the day, when they could go to Hogsmeade. Especially Mei and Seamus, who were planning their date for a month. They were anxious, just to spend some alone time with each other. Though, for different reasons.
"You're finally going on a date with Seamus, but I wonder how Cedric is going to take it." Hermione declared, as she wrapped one of her scarves around her neck.
Mei giggled, "He is my best-friend and we are just going out together as friends. I think Cedric will understand that."
"Well, I don't think Seamus is thinking the same way." Hermione mumbled, but Mei looked at her curiously, "Oh, I was just wondering how much your boots cost."

As, the rest of the Gryffindor girls went down to the courtyard, Mei could see the Ravenclaw girls only a few meters away. Cho, of course with her friends that finally stopped avoiding her. Luna was there too, reading the Quibbler as usual. Suddenly, a weight was on her shoulder and she stumbled forward.
"Seamus!" She whined as she turned around to see him, smiling like a fool.
He kissed on her cheek, "Hey, you said we would meet in the common room, and I didn't see you there!" Seamus told her in a baby face.
Mei who was still blushing from the kiss, ran ahead, patting her cheeks to stop it from getting even more red, "You know if you keep acting like that around him, Cedric should just go back to me." Cho declared, as she walked past her.
Finally, Seamus had caught up to Mei. Cho giggled and caught up to her own friends. He looked at her curiously, but Mei just grabbed his hand as they walked together to Hogsmeade.

"Two Butterbear, please" Seamus asked, as the two sat down at one of the many tables at the Three Broomsticks.
Mei and Seamus had already been to Honeydukes, Zonko's Joke Shop, and even stopping at Madam Puddifoot's Tea Shop. Seamus had asked to go there, remembering Harry having a date there with Cho. However, Mei hated the place, which she told Seamus. Due to the fact that she had a date with George there and she didn't want to remind herself with that relationship.
"So how is quidditch practice for you?" Seamus asked, trying to grab ahold of her hand.
Mei sighed. "So much work! Was the other captains like this?" She asked and Seamus shrugged.
"Hey, look it's our captain." Seamus told her as he pointed to the door, where Harry and Ginny walked in.
The bartender had looked at Harry weirdly, "Back again Ms. Weasley and Mr. Potter. Weren't you with others before?" The tow ignored them, and even didn't realize they had just passed Mei and Seamus.
"Thanks again with help for quidditch."
"No problem, Harry. I'm glad to help, but I've think you made wrong choices for people on the reserve team." Ginny declared, taking off her jacket.
Harry looked at her weirdly, "I think I've chosen an amazing team-"
"Are you kidding me? Dean and Mei should switch spots!" Ginny interrupted him.
Seamus looked at Mei with worried eyes, "I think we should go." However, Mei shook her head, wanting to know more of they were talking about.
"Dean is a much better chaser than her. He even practiced all by himself, but I bet Mei had help from Cedric. You've made a mistake Harry!"
Mei couldn't believe what Ginny said. Wasn't she her friend!? Was Ginny just going to be like Cho? Mei tried to listen closer. She knew she deserved Chaser, after hearing it many times from Seamus and other students who watched the try-outs. She even practiced by herself! Though, Cedric helped most of the times, but Mei was capable of doing it be herself.
"Ginny, Mei is amazing. I don't think you are giving he enough credit-" Mei smiled as Harry said that.
Ginny crossed her arms, "I bet you are just saying that, because she is Draco's sister! And it is obvious that you are in love with him!" Ginny yelled, and Mei had enough.
"Well, I bet you are just saying that because Dean Thomas is your boyfriend!" Mei yelled, as Ginny and Harry looked blankly at her.
Ginny looked completely shocked, "H-how long did you hear us?" She asked stuttering.
"This whole time, Ginny! and thanks Harry for sticking up with me!" In tears Mei stormed out of the Three Broomsticks.
"THANKS FOR RUINING MY DATE!" Seamus yelled, following Mei.
Harry stood up himself. He followed Seamus, and left Ginny alone. She sat there, wondering why she had said that? But she knew, she was just jealous of Draco and Harry. She loved Harry ever since she was a little girl. Also, the fact that Dean always talked about Mei.
"Am I in love Dean and Harry?" Ginny asked herself.
