Chapter 14 - The Third Task

"Good luck." Mei kissed Cedric, as the people of parents Hogwarts student kept piling into the Quidditch pitch.

"Get a room!" Cho yelled as, she was already seated, and watching the two.

Cedric kissed her forehead, "I will, now go." He saw George and Seamus waving at them.

Mei laughed seeing Draco do the same thing to Harry. She scurried to her seat, beside Seamus, who Lavender was cuddle up against.

"Are you two dating?" Mei asked,still glaring at Lavender.

Seamus shook his head, Mei smiled pinching his cheek, "I would get that she liked you though. 

You're cute." Blushing madly, he was about to tell her he liked her, but Bill, Ron's brother interrupted them.

"Is that Fleur Delacour?" He asked, noting taking his eyes off of her.

Mei nodded, and recognized the flaming red hair, "You must be George, Fred, Ron, and Ginny's brother. Is it Charlie?" 

"I'm Charlie and that's William- I mean Bill" The man beside him said, "And you must be the famous Mei Kuran. George tells me a lot about you." 

"He sends you those too?" Bill mentioned, "He goes on and on about how he gave you a rose and your hair spells like a ray of sunshine."

Mei looked over to see George burying his face into his jacket, but cocked her head to one side, "Oh you don't know?" Charlie ask excited.

Bill and Charlie had the same evil grin George and Fred had, "Well, you see our little George here-"

"Bill, Fleur is looking at you!" Fred squealed, pointing towards her, in which she indeed was looking at him.

"And look right beside her is Mei's boyfriend!" George pointed out, glaring at his brother.

"You're dating Cedric Diggory?" The man beside him asked, who seemed to be their father, who Ron told her was named Arthur.

Mei nodded, "Then you must now Mr. and Mrs. Diggory." he took her by the shoulder and headed to the people Cedric was talking too.

Mei was definitely scared. Meeting her boy-friend's parents, was a scary thing for wizards and muggles. When, they were only centimeters away, Cedric looked at her, smiling and so did her parents. When, she had turned around to talk to Mr. Weasley, he was back with his sons and daughter.

"Mum, Dad this is my new girl-friend, Mei Kuran." She nodded and waved at them, still shy.

They looked at her, seeming like they liked Cho better. Though, they started hugging her. Mr. Diggory, who was a pretty short man compared to his wife was very short and plump. They talked for, which seemed to hours to Cedric and Mei, but soon he was called and the worst situation happened, she was left alone wit her boy-friend's parent.

"So, you started dating after the Yule Ball, and it seems, the necklace chain my son told to me to bought is now on your neck, with a rose and heart locket." Mrs. Diggory declared.

Mei nodded, "He's very kind, I must say he must get it from you two." She smiled, trying to kiss up to them.

"Well, we're flattered Ms. Kuran- Wait that's not right, Mei." Amos Diggory indicated.

Mei nodded, "I feel the competition is going to start, so I'll go back to my seat."

"No sit-"

"Cho!" Mr Diggory had passed, Mei and hugged the ravenclaw behind her.

"Sit with us, we insist!" Mrs. Diggory declared.

Mei looked at Cho, who mouthed sorry. She headed back to the Weasleys and Seamus. Seamus patted her back seeing everything that happened. However, Charlie and Bill laughed behind him.

"Mei, how many confessions do you get a day?" Bill asked.

"Confessions? What do you mean, like if someone likes me?" The two nodded, "Not that often." 

And right at that moment, a Durmstrung boy had came up to her, bowing, baring a pink small box.

Still looking at the Durmstrung boy, she opened the small box, which contained a billion of origami stars, which she seemed to be really surprised, to see people in Europe knowing this kind of art. 

Also, was a piece of parchment saying, "I like you".

Mei blushed, "I'm flattered, but I'm dating Cedric Diggory." Handing back to the box, but did not retrieve it, but headed to the other Durmstrung boys, laughed at him.

"So, once a day?" Charlie asked.

Mei nodded, still blushing, she had gotten a confession right in front of them, "Well, I think Seamus is here will be the-"

"ATTENTION EVERYONE!" Dumbledore announced, everyone directed their attention to him, "The places is stand with Harry and Cedric in the lead, with Viktor in second, and Fleur next. They will go into the maze in that order with a one minute gap. They must retrieve the Triwizard Cup! The competition will begin shortly." Everyone cheered

"Good-luck Cedric!" Mei yelled, again, and he gave a wink back at her.

Suddenly, a whistle blew and Harry and Cedric entered the maze, Mei shouted with the rest of the people around her. Although, she waved not only a red and gold flag, but a black and yellow one. She could sense, Pansy was smirking at her and the stares from Mr. Diggory. Soon, after Viktor went in, Fleur was the last to go in, and the Bill, seemed to be screaming on the top of his lungs.

"Who do you think will win?" Mrs. Weasley asked, as only the champions went into the maze.

"Probably, the boys because they're all seekers, they will be pretty good at finding things." Fred replied, as everyone silently waited for one of them to comeback with the cup.

Bill smirked, "Fleur will." Charlie punched him in the arm.

"You are jus saying that, you have a crush!" 

"Now boys." Mrs. Weasley began, "There is nothing wrong with liking someone. For example George and-"

"Mum! That's a secret." Mei giggled, not knowing it was her.

"George you like someone? Who is it, Katie?" Mei looked over to see her with Angelina.

"No of course not, it's-"

"Save your breathe." Charlie declared, "Anyone want snacks?"

"Jellybeans!" 

"Chocolate frogs!" 

"Anything from Honeydukes!" 

"Hold on!" Charlie ordered.

After an hour red sparks came into the air, and some wizards headed towards it. Came out was a stunned Fleur, Madame Maxime looked horrified and so did Bill. They headed down there, but a few minutes later again red sparks flew up and Viktor Krum, stunned too, was sent to Madame Promfrey.  Another, 30 minutes went by, Viktor and Fleur were not in the crowd waiting for the arrival of Cedric or Harry. 

Again 20 minutes went by and no sign of them. Suddenly, a beam of light shown onto the ground and the Triwizard cup was in the hands of Harry and Cedric. Everyone looked silently on, as Cedric lay on the ground and Harry yelling. Suddenly, Fleur screamed. Everyone now noticed all the scars over Cedric and Harry's face, which included a lot of blood.

"He's back!" Harry yelled, as Draco went to his side.

Mei eyes widened looking at Cedric still on the floor. She rushed down the stands, heading towards there. Harry was now getting dragge by Professor Dumbledore, still screaming, "He's back!"

"CEDRIC!" Mei yelled once she reached him, hugging him tightly on the ground, with his parents.

"Cedric, wake-up you can't be dead." She mumbled, tears flowing down, more than it was ever.

She wiped away the blood on his lips and gently kissed him, leaving tears on his cheek, "Cedric, please!" 

"I can't live without you." She mumbled.

At that moment, a miracle had happen. Cedric, still on the ground fluttered his eyes open. Not able to stand up, everyone cheered seeing he was alive. His parents hugged him, and Ludo came down, smiling happily,

"Splitting the one thousand galleons is Cedric Diggory and Harry Potter of Hogwarts!" Everyone cheered even the other two schools.

Mr. Bagman, supported Cedric up and headed to the hospital wing, "You scared me!" Mei yelled.

"Hey, we're still going on our trip." They both smiled, even though it was hard for him.

"Look you and Harry are in the daily Prophet!" Mei declared, as her, Harry, and his parents were with him.

Mr. Diggory smiled, "Boy, why are you letting all that money go, have you gone mad?" Reading it in the paper. 

Harry had given the money he earned to George and Fred, who were planning to make a joke shop, "They need it more than me, and I got lots of my own."

"But you could be traveling the world like us, and Mei." Mrs. Diggory declared, hugging her shoulder.

It seemed how Mei reacted to Cedric, looking dead, they gave her more respect. They had told her, she wasn't sure, since they knew more about Cho. 

"Pack your bags at home, and we will pick you up the next day." Mr. Diggory told her, when they were going to give them some alone time.

Once, they closed the door, Mei went into his bed, cuddling up next to him, "Are we going to tell them about Draco and I?"

"They already know." Cedric mumbled.

"What!?" Mei yelled, but clasped her mouth shout after seeing Madam Promfrey giving her a deathly look.

He nodded, "They understand."

Mei sighed, "By next year, if we don't stop Lucius, I'll be marrying Draco."

Cedric kissed her forehead, "Now we don't want that." He steadily standing up, still bandages covering his body, putting on his robe.

"What are you doing!" Mei yelled, trying to make him sit down. 

"We are going to the end-of-tearm feast of course." When Madam Promfrey wasn't looking they snuck out, heading towards the Great Hall.

Sorry if this is a confusing chapter, but to recap it, Cedric is not dead, but really injured. Mei and his parents are going to ravel the world on summer holidays. Chapter 13 - Pansy Is Not Like The Beautiful Flower

Once, her and Draco had talked about the note, they desperately tried to make ideas for them to get married. however, with only the two, Cedric, Harry and Hermione, it still wasn't enough. So, Draco was going to tell Blaise one of the only smartest friends he had, and Mei would tell Seamus and George. 

Mei declared the password to the fat lady, after she asked what happened to her. Mei, sitting at her usual desk, waited for George and Seamus come to her. Which they did regularly when her eyes were puffy and red. Finally, the two came, as they silently together.

"What happened?" George asked, as they both took seats near her.

"Do you know why I transferred to Hogwarts?"

"You live in London?" 

"This is one of the best wizard school." Seamus replied.

"No and no, it's because of Lucius Malfoy." the two looked curiously at her, "You two are my best-friends will you keep a secret?"

They both nodded, "You can trust us, we promise." George declared.

"At the end of our fifth year and your seventh year, I'm have to get married to Draco."

Both of their eyes widen, "WHAT!?" They both yelled.

Mei nodded timidly, "My dad had met Lucius and that was when Harry and Draco had a scandal at school, that's what I heard."

George nodded, "They were caught kissing, they became a public couple after."

"People kept making fun of them, but they didn't care." Seamus continued.

"Vell." She stopped laughing at herself, pretending to be Viktor Krum, "I'm going to marry hi, so people would forget about that, but I fell in love with Cedric." The two cringed at Cedric's name, with the word love.

"So, I need your help, for Draco, Harry, and my sake." She pleaded, using her puppy dog face.

The two nodded, but George pointed at Harry, "Go tell him too. He needs to know." Mei nodded, kissing the two on the cheek before she left, making they both blush madly.

"Draco!" Harry yelled, the next day after all their classes were done.

"Yes sweetie." He cooed, leaving his friends behind, but Pansy hid behind a pillar.

Harry hugged him, tears not wanting to come out of his eyes, "I can't live without you."

Draco kissed him on the cheek, "We just need to find a way." Harry nodded.

"How is Mei taking it? She is your house mate."

He smiled, "Hermione, George, and Seamus helped her all night. However, why didn't your dad let you marry Pansy? I mean, meeting a stranger and getting used to him, and making their children marry his own? I mean, really!" 

Draco nodded, "I knew that, but if we don't go to the hall and eat quickly. We're not going have time to make a plan, and I'm going to marry Mei by the end of next year." Pansy tightened her fist, she couldn't believe what she heard.

Draco had told her many times, that he was going to get married to a pretty girl, because of his father. She didn't care if it was someone from anywhere else, but Hogwarts, because they probably knew how handle her. It angered her even more since it was Mei Kuran, the girl she hated ever since she met her.

"i just want Mei Kuran dead!" She yelled, as she didn't want to go eat.

She passed the corner, and there she saw Mei with George, "I really can't let go of this flower, it's one of the best things I ever had, which includes this, the necklace Cedric gave me, and Seamus' firework bracelet."

He laughed, "Well, if you like it so much, kiss me." 

Mei giggled, slapping him in the arm, "If you insist." She tugged on his robe, and kissed him on the cheek, but before she knew it, he got her by the hip and carried her to the great hall.

Pansy smirked, "If she likes them so, much, maybe she'll go with my commands."

She headed into her room, opening one of her textbooks to the polyjuice potion. She smirked, reading all the items. She was going to make Mei pay for everything.

"Ready?" Millicent asked, the only person she could get to take a polyjuice
with.

They gulped it down, putting hairs of Lavender and Parvati in. Soon, they went into the washroom, changing into their knew forms. Millicent had came out first, feeling her flat stomach of Parvari's body. Pansy came out, smirking, and headed to find a Gryffindor.

"Dean!" Pansy yelled, seeing one of the only Gryffindors she knew.

Dean blushed going to the two, "Let's go to the common room!" Pansy declared, hooking arms with him.

He said the password, when they reached the Fat Lady, but she didn't concentrate on the password, because once she opened the door, there sat Mei with girls surrounding her, giggling. Luckily, Lavender and Parvati was still talking to Professor Trelawney about divination and stuff.

"Herm-ugly!" Pansy yelled, clasping her mouth after, because she was suppose to be Lavender, but Hermione turned around going to her, face angered and red.

"Lavender, my name is Hermione, so only call me that, anyway what do you want?"

Pansy held back her anger, "Can I borrow your notes for Arithmacy?" 

Hermione smirked, "Do you even take Arithmacy?"

"Give me your notes!" She retorted, and Hermione backed up, but actually went into her room.

 

While Pansy was talking to Hermione, Millicent, who Pansy informed, looked for the objects. She searched everywhere, but couldn't find it. So, after they which Millicent talked to Hermione, than Pansy looked for it. Finally, looking inside her pillow case she found all three items, and a picture of her and all her friends. She smirked stuffing it in her pocket.

Suddenly, as the two opened the door, Lavender, Parvati and Professor McGonagall came in, "Who are you imposters?" She screamed, as the two back out.

Pansy, however, knocked onto of the beds, falling out were the belongings of Mei, Hermione scurried to pick it up and away from the two girls, "I said who are you?" Again she asked them.

Suddenly, their hair were turning back to normal. Their face, and body, were turning back to normal too. Their Gryffindor robes, were beginning, to shock everyone to see Pansy and Millicent.

"Parkinson, Bulstrode, week of detention!" Professor McGonagall took them from their robes, and headed to the common room, where their were looks from everyone.

"Take a picture, it will last longer!" Pansy yelled, eyes shooting towards Mei.

Colin, who was advised from Harry Potter, shot a picture of the two leaving the portrait hole. After, Hermione came running down with Mei's belongings in her hand. 

"Why do you have those?" Mei asked, standing up from the table she was sitting on.

"Pansy." Hermione declared, looking back at the closed portrait.

"If she keeps that up, she'll have detentions until she graduates." Fred uttered, making everyone else laugh.

"Cedric that's not going to work, Draco and I thought about that months ago, but it won't work!" Cedric and Mei were thinking of ideas.

Cedric smiled, "Okay then, can we just talk about something else then."

"Cedric." Mei began sternly, "If we don't think of something, there will be no us, and I don't want that to happen."

He nodded, "But let's just talk about it tomorrow, like what would I do with the money if I win."

Mei thought it over, "How about a trip with your family! That would be great, like going around the world." 

"That's a good idea, so you will be coming right?" 

Mei shook her head, "Wedding planning."

"That's not going to stop me for bringing you." Cedric kissed her softly on the lips, but Mei made her puppy dog eyes.

Biting her lip, she plunged herself onto him, "Don't tease." Again she placed her lips on his, in between they kept giggling.

"Hey, stop." Cedric instructed

"Why?" She asked, trying to reach his lips.

"I don't know what the third task is and I don't want you to cry again, so let's do some research." Cedric notified getting her hand.

Mei smiled, "Then can we still kiss in the library!"

Chapter 13 - Their Relationship

"Harry." Mei declared, as they were the only two in the common room that night, after the tornado of questions they asked.

Harry didn't respond, he just looked at Mei, "Would would happen if I married Draco."

"Isn't that obvious? you'll be his wife." Mei smacked his head with a nearby book, since he declared that in a sarcastic tone.

"I'm serious!" She claimed, "Will you find someone else?"

Harry got up, heading towards the spiral staircase to his room, "Let's just hope, you and Draco can find a way to stop the wedding."

"Jerk!" The shouts from Ravenclaws, were heard at everywhere Mei went.

The only Ravenclaw on both sides, was the pixie like, Luna Lovegood, who Ginny had told everything she had said. For the whole week Mei didn't even see Cho. According to a girl she heard in a class, she had been crying, about being not good enough for Cedric. Hearing that, made her realize Cho was acting like how she did, when Cedric was still with her.

However, there was some up sides of the things that happened after the second task. Pansy had gotten detention for almost killing a fellow student, and talking bad about a teacher. It cost her a whole year of detention, starting next year, when their O.W.Ls were coming up. Also, Mei and Cedric didn't have to hide from anyone, about their relationship anymore at Hogwarts. 

Seamus and George got over their jealous and accepted the fact they were dating, but they still liked her and tried to show affection for her still. However, Mei didn't seem to understand the two boys liking her. They even helped her stand up for her, when Ravenclaws cam her way, or Slytherin girls.

"Watch out Kuran!" Marietta, Cho's best-friend yelled one afternoon.

She had used a spell, dropping a huge bucket of water over her head. For the big splash, only she was drenched was in cold water, and no teacher was there.

"What was that for!" Mei yelled, squeezing her hair dry.

"Jerk!" The group of girls, declared running of to their class.

People pointing and laughing at Mei, who was still drenched in water. Even, her so called friends from Beauxbatons, weren't' even helping her, but just standing there laughing to. She sneezed, shivering at the cold water, still dripping from her hair and robe.

"Vell, ve got to take you to the nurse." Viktor Krum stood in front of her.

"You're a friend of Hermione, right?" He asked, Mei nodded.

Smiling, "If you're a friend of someone I like, you're a friend of mine." He escorted her to the hospital wing.

"You really like Hermione, what do you think of me?" Mei asked, being once a fan of him.

"Vell, you are very pretty, but I like Hermione. Beside you are a good friend of mine;s girl-friend." Mei giggled.

As, the headed into the hospital wing, Mei was upset, that students would do to her, because of silly boy. Viktor had left, once Madam Promfrey, used a spell to dry Mei up. Still, she was still cold, so she gotten a hot chocolate and warm blanket as she laid on one of the beds.

"I advise you Ms. Kuran, if you don't want to happen again, you should talk to Ms. Chang." Leaving her, alone in the hospital wing, Neville came quickly after.

Madam Promfrey's words kept repeating in her head, for the next few weeks. Even, when she was with Cedric, she couldn't get anything else in her head. Even worst, Cho was going to classes now. Meaning, Mei would see her, which was always almost into tears. 

After, another wonderful weekend with Cedric and the rest of the Gryffindors celebrating her birthday, she finally was going to talk to Cho. The pranks on her didn't stop, and of course Madam Promfrey, would say the same things over and over again.

"Cho!" Mei called out when they were both headed into Divination.

Cho's eyes widened, hurrying up the stairs with her other friends. However, she had caught a hold of Cho's robe. Her fiends had already had passed her leaving her with Mei. Her usual friendly face, was now furious.

"What do you want Kuran!?" She yelled, sounding like Pansy.

"Can't we talk?" Mei asked.

She shook her head, "Why would I talk to someone like you!" Again she yelled.

Mei hated stubbornness, but if she didn't want to get pranked on and be friends with anyone she had to not explode into anger, "Hvea you heard Cedric's story, though?"

"No." She replied.

"Then, can't you understand, I love him and he started to have feelings for me." She argued, but Cho just turned around heading up to Divination, with Mei following behind.

That night, when Mei and Cedric had sneaked out to the lake for a date, she was surprised to hear Cedric

 
say, "Cho talked to me, about us."

 

"What did she ask?" Mei hid her feeling of joy, knowing that Cho had took her advice.

"Why did I pick you, instead of her."

"And?" Mei begged to hear more.

"I told her everything, I told you and she understands now." Cedric smiled, kisisng her.

"Thank god, I hate how her friends treated me." 

Cedric ruffled her hair, "I'm with you, and all my firends." This time he kissed her forehead.
Suddenly, screams of Mei's name were heard behind him. Instantly, the two turned around, it was Draco. In his hand was piece of parchment in his hand. He had given it to Cedric, first who seemed completely shocked from it. 

Handing it to Mei, he was almost into tears, "I think I need to go." cedric headed back into the castle.

"Just read it." Draco declared, as she saw her about to follow him.

A single tear dropped onto the parchment as she read. Mei falling to the ground, with Draco at her side, also crying.

"What are we going to do! I won't go through it, we're too young still!" 

"What my father decides are usually final." Mei cried again.

"We need more help!" Mei yelled, Draco nodded in agreement.


 The two ran back into the castle, still crying. Leaving the piece of parchment from Draco's dad on the ground. Still the words on the letter haunted the two.

"I've decided because of you two in different relationships, the wedding will be soon. When I mean soon, the wedding will be at the end of your fifth year."

Chapter 12 - The Second Task

After, the Yule Ball, there was still buzz around the school about it. However, mostly about Cho and Cedric's break-up. Almost everyone in Gryffindor was talking about it, but mostly that it might affect Cedric's game plan. However, Mei was over joy by it.

Cedric and herself were finally dating, going to empty classrooms or the perfect's bathroom to make-out. As well as, she and Draco were getting better ideas of trying not to marry each other and still no one found out between them. Mei even helped set up dates for Draco and Harry. Lastly, her friendship between George and Seamus was one of the greatest she ever had. Everything, was great, well of course not including the homework.

Two glorious months dating Cedric, and Mei couldn't tell by February 20, It was four days until the Second Task. It was all the rage for the Gryffindors, who knew Harry would probably place first again. Soon the morning of the Second Task, came as she headed to the lake with Seamus, and George who had her on his back.

Clutching George's arm, "I know you George Weasley, you better not drop me in the lake!" They had reached the towers in the middle of the lake, where the four champions were already in their bathing suits.

"I'll jump after you." Seamus declared, making George laugh.

They headed near a spot where Dean and Neville were. They were only centimeters away from the champions. So, she snuck off and went to Cedric. She tapped his shoulder, and once he turned around, she kissed him quickly on the lips.

"Good luck." She whispered

He nodded, "Don't start crying for me, if I don't show up, after an hour." Mei punched him in the arm, "Hey, I'm probably need to my arms to swim." She kissed him again, both of them smirking and headed back to her friends, which were all guys at the moment.

"Where is Hermione?" She asked.

"I don't know, Ron wasn't even at breakfast and you know Ron always eating." Fred told her.

A whistle blew and they were off. the group headed to the front, where Harry had fell off. Neville looked horrified of the site, saying something, but Mei couldn't hear, since she was looking for Cedric on the water. Suddenly, someone in red and feet like flippers jumped in the air. 

"It's Harry Potter!" Dean yelled, as Harry splashed back into the water.

"Then where is Cedric?" Mei asked, and the Gryffindors looked at her.

Dean slapped the back of her head, but Seamus slapped him back, "What with you and that pretty boy, it's not like you two are dating!" 

"Yeah." She mumbled, rubbing the back of her head.

Mei smiled, "What do you think they have to get inside the lake?"

"Something important of course. I bet it's Harry's firebolt." George replied.

After, almost an hour, everyone started worrying of what happened. Fleur was now on deck, she had been attacked by grindylows, meaning her item was not retrieved. Mei seemed even worried when only five minutes before the one hour mark and Cedric and Harry were not up, since now Draco had joined her. 

Though, she didn't realize that behind here, Pansy had tied a rope around her leg. Since it was crowded, she thought it was other people's leg on hers. The rope was tied onto a magical ball, that looked light on the outside, but actually heavy, enough to bring someone down into the water.

Cedric had shot up, but with Cho at his side, gasping for air. She clenched her fist, she knew Cedric didn't have any feelings for her, because it was all to her, but she was his ex. She would always see trouble with the ex, but they hadn't told anyone, except Hermione and Draco of course. She even told Cedric about herself and Draco, he understood and was now even helping them.

"Jealous much, Kuran?" pansy asked getting the magical ball near the end with her foot.

Mei smirked, "I bet you're talking about you're the one, since I' next your precious Draco." Mei cuddled onto Draco's arm.

She smirked, and Viktor had shot up now, this time with Hermione, "Your boyfriends precious item, was his ex."

Mei's eyes widen, "What did you say?"

"Don't play dumb!" Finally Harry had shot up with Ron and Gabrielle, Fleur's person, "I saw you and him making out in one of the classrooms." She had pushed her to the edge, as Seamus and George came rushing in.

"Pansy stop!" Seamus yelled, but she just smirk.

"What are you two weirdos going to do?"

"Tell Dumbledore!" George commented, but she kicked him.

Draco now stepped in, "Stop."

"MAKE ME!" She yelled kicking the ball over the edge, leading into the water.

"MEI!" All three boys yelled, as Neville who watched the whole thing had called Professor McGonagall.

Mei plummeted to the water, making a huge splash near three boys and their person. Professor Snape had followed Professor McGonagall to talk to Pansy.

"Help Ms. Kuran!" She yelled to the champions, as Mei went more done into the dark water.

Mei closed her eyes, scared, as she felt the slimy seaweed as she went more down into the water. She only thought, she was going to die, by drowning or getting eaten by the giant squid. She recalled all the best memories of Hogwarts, but someone had interrupted her, as she felt some ones leg.

The light rope, that felt like nothing had been removed, making her not sink anymore. Mei felt herself shot up, but this time to the surface in the air, since the feeling in her nose when she went to down in the water had lessened. Still her eyes closed, she heard people screaming her name.

Slowly she opened them, seeing Cedric's gray concerned eyes on her. Tightly, he hugged, her secretly giving her a peck on the cheek.

"Who did this to you?" Mei shivering, pointed at Pansy who was getting dragged by Professor Snape.

Again Cedric's tightened his hug, "I'm just glad you're alright." The two were given towels as they reach shore, Seamus and George joined the two.

"When I see Pansy, I'm going to kill her!" Seamus expressed, but George just laughed and ruffled his hair.

Cedric stretch over to Mei's shivering body, "Don't worry, I'll protect her." They walked faster than the two boys, who looked dumbfounded.

"Why did you tell them that, they're going to figure out we're dating." Mei declared, pinching his cheek.

Mei could hear whimpering behind her, but just ignore her, though she heard Cho's voice she stood frozen, "You broke up me for Mei, Cedric!?" She yelled, crying past the two.

Everyone looked at Cedric and Mei, who stood there. Everyone who was walking back to the castle hear Cho, including George and Seamus. They looked furious, but disappointed at the same time. Slowly, they walked up to the two.

"We're you're best-friends!" George yelled.

"But you never told us?" Seamus continued, as the two stomped to the castle.

"It'll be okay." Cedric declared, always telling when she was about to cry, but something worst came.

Lucius dragging Draco by his hand came stepping forward, flames fuming from ear to ear, "What is with you two!?" Pointing at the couple.

He pushed Cedric off her, and with his free hand, grabbed Mei's, "We are so in trouble." Draco mouthed as, they went near Hagrid's hut.

"Sit here!" He screamed, his voice ringing in their ears, after he left.

"What happened?" Draco asked.

"Cho heard us talking." Draco nodded, sighing himself.

Scratching his neck, he spoke, "He caught me kissing Harry." Mei giggled.

"It was a congratulation kiss for getting first place with Cedric." Lucius was coming back, looking rather red.

"You two are getting married! You can't date other people, it's a disgrace to both families!" 

"I don't love him!" Mei retorted, "We love someone else, can't you face that!"

Draco stood up with her, "We're friends, but nothing else can come from that. I'm gay!"

Lucius had grabbed his wand and directly pointed it at Draco's neck, "I will not have a son like that! It's horrible, people will make fun of the Malfoy name!" 

"People, have gotten used to this Mr. Malfoy!" Mei grabbed Draco's hand and headed to the castle.

Lucius growled and the last seen him apparated. Mei sighed, knowing the outcome when they got to the castle. Why was she with Draco? When did her and Cedric's relationship start? Who knew about it, and all the other stuff. Once, Mei said the password and headed into the common room, everyone who was gathered around Harry, was no gathered around her, asking all the questions she thought of.

Chapter 11 - The Yule Ball

"Mei, aren't you ready?" Angelina stood in front of the door, waiting for Mei.


They decided to go together, since their partners were twins. Angelina and Mei were suppose to meet the twins at the Great Hall, were the Yule Ball was going to be held. Mei had been so nervous, she didn't know what to where. She only lightly put make-up on, and put her brown long straight into wavy, glossy hair with a sakura flower on one side of her bangs. Her dress was a strapless long light pink empire dress, with matching heels.


"Coming!" Mei called lifting her dress, as she opened the door. 


Angelina gasped, looking up and down Mei, "Why did you want to make your date, not see you in this!"


Mei turned bright red, "Well, it's my first ball."


"Then, let's get going." Angelina grabbed her hand, as the two joined a crowd of six years to the hall.


Once they reached the door, Angelina could feel Mei shaking, "Are you nervous?" 


Mei nodded hurriedly, "I'm a fourth year, going with a sixth year!"


Her arm slipped around Mei's shoulder, "Love has no age-"


"LOVE!? I don't love George, he's my friend, one of my best friends And you know I like-!" 


Angelina giggled, making Mei's face turn even more red, "Well, you two don't have the same feeling towards each other." They entered together, while Mei was still dumbfound of what she said.

George and Fred, were sitting together at a table. There was music playing, but their partners hadn't arrived yet. Seamus and Lavender had sat beside them. Ever since the night, George and Mei came back to the common room at their night out at the Quidditch field, Seamus had been giving deathly glares at George.


"Wow!" Lavender squealed, "Mei and Angelina so cute!" Lavender rushed out of her seat, heading towards the two girls who had entered.


George and Seamus smiled, looking at Mei. She was usual out going girl, but she looked so cute in her dress, as she timidly walked up to them.


"Jealous, Seamus?" George whispered, as the two girls sat down, near Lavender.


He just glared at him, but turn his attention to the other girls, "Is this going to start soon?" 


"Why Seamus, you want to hold Lavender waist sooner." Angelina scoffed, making everyone laugh.

His face and Lavender's turned bright red, "I just want this to start soon, I heard...uh...Professor Flitwick, saying there is a famous band coming." Seamus trying to cover up, the fact he didn't want to see Mei dancing with someone else than him.


"Mei, there you are!" Draco voice was heard from across the hall, Pansy cuddling up to his arm.


"My father is here! He wants to see you." He whispered, as Pansy gave her the dirtiest look to date, though she just looked at him blankly, "Now, I meant." Draco took her hand, and let Pansy sit, but Seamus and George held Mei's hand.


Seamus let go, but George didn't, "She's my date, Malfoy."


"George, I'll be back, don't worry." They rushed to across the room, where Lucius Malfoy and Mr. Crouch were.  

"Hello father." Draco and Mei said in unison, but Lucius only hugged Mei.


"You're calling me father now, how sweet!"


Mei rolled her eyes, "You sent me thousand of letters telling me to call you that." She thought.


He released her, and she went back to Draco side, "Well, why aren't you here together, haven't you told everyone you two are getting married, so it won't be awkward."


Draco and Mei laughed slightly, "Pansy wouldn't take no for an answer."


Lucius smiled, "Well, she is a very goo girl, always wants the best, but who are you going with?"


"George Weasley." She quietly, knowing the relationship, between the two family.


"A red-haired Weasley!" He shouted, but he couldn't continue, since the tow rushed off, since the four champions were coming in. 


Stopped the crowd to get to their dates, they just looked on at the champions. Mei smiled seeing Hermione and Viktor coming together, as she looked on at Ron and Padma, who seemed quiet jealous. She sighed, seeing Cho in a beautiful long gown, link arms with Cedric. She still wished to go with him, but she promised not to cry this night.


Once, they started dancing, Mei and Draco went quietly around, trying to make anyone notice, them but they were stopped by Crabbe and Goyle. Mei snuck out, but Draco was left talking to the two dummies.


"George let's go dance!" Once she reached the table, she grabbed George's hand. 


They headed to dance floor, where already Neville and Ginny were dancing with the champions. George, took Mei's waist, and started dancing. They both smiled at each other, Mei even thought this was better than meeting Cedric. However, as the tune started to vanish, and went to a new song, she caught a glimpse of Cho and Cedric.


"I can't believe people are actually snogging in front of teachers." As George caught sight of the two too.


Mei closing her eyes and took a another breathe, "I  know right." She replied, as they kept on dancing.

After a few more songs, Professor Flitwick came to the stage, looking nervous, "For the first time at Hogwarts, here are the Weird Sisters!" Hairy men came out.


"It's time for really music. Is everyone ready!?" He yelled, as the students swarmed the stage, and Professor Flitwick's body was seen floating above the crowd's hands.


"Let's go Mei!" George instructed, as they Weird sisters were singing.


Mei noticed Cedric who were still snogging with each other, she tried to stop the tears from coming down her face in front of George, "I need some fresh air."


George nodded kissing her on the cheek, which surprised her, "Well, just try to find me in the crowd." He squeezed his tall skinny body between students to get to the front.


Again, Mei's eyes darted to Cedric. This time, he had lifted her up in the air, but threw her, but caught her bridal style in his arms. It seemed like they had just gotten married. She sniffed, covering her face, headed outside, to cry on the stairs. Students, were snogging at every fifth steps, making Mei even more sad. 


Her high heels, actually made it to the top of the stairs, despite her feet still tired from dancing. Once, she reached the top, she sat down next to knight in armor. She leaned against it, crying on it's hard metal shoulder.


"Why can't my knight, know I'm crying for the day, he realizes I love him." She mumbled.

"Weird Sisters!" Fred yelled, as he was beside Angelina, jumping up and down.


Looking in front of him, was George, who had finally reached the front, but to his surprise Mei wasn't sitting beside him. She gently tapped his shoulder, instantly he turned around.

"Where is Mei?" Fred asked.


"She went to get some air, but she hadn't come back." 


Angelina had smacked him in the forehead, "She's your date and you left her!" Again she smacked him.


"Stop!" He yelled, "I'll go look for her." He headed to the door, and asked the first person he saw, which was ironic since it was Cho and Cedric, who were still snogging.


"Do you know where is Mei?" He asked, as Cedric looked at him as if he just started snogging with Cho.


Cedric held George by his  collar, hitting him to the door, "Aren't you his date? You're suppose to treat her like a princess! You are so dumb! Wait with Cho, and I'll find her." He yelled leaving the two behind.


The two stood there quietly, "Do you want to listen to the Weird Sisters?" Cho had finally asked to break the silence, and George nodded.


However, Cedric was looking everywhere for her. He knew it was dumb, she wouldn't be in danger, since it was Hogwarts, and it's one of the safest place ever! He just didn't like the fact, she was alone, with tat cute face and sexy body of hers, what do you think a Durmstrung or a old Hogwarts student could do.


Suddenly from the stairs a house mate of his was giggling with his date, "What happened Stebbins?" He asked, stopping him.


"You know that Mei Kuran, that fourth year, that everyone thought she was hot? Well, she was crying next to one of the knights, she is not talking to anyone." The girl beside him, started laughing.


Cedric nodded, heading up the stairs looking at everyone knight to see if Mei was there. At last, as he reached the top of the stairs, he was about to give up, but saw the crying Mei. He slipped beside her, hanging his arm around her.


"If you're another Durmstrung boy who wants to go dance, leave me alone!" She yelled shooting up her face to look at him.


"What happened?" Cedric instantly asked, seeing the smudges from her make-up.


Mei clenched her fist, and stood up, "You happened." She replied, finally wanting to head to her room.


Cedric looked curiously at her, "Why do you say that?" As he tried to reach her.




Mei turned around, tears slowly increasing, "Ever since I saw you, my hear couldn't stop beating faster and faster!" Cedric still didn't seem what she meant.


"I love you Cedric!" She yelled, but again the tears started flowing, "But you only like Cho!" 


In a split second, Cedric had gotten Mei's hand, kissing her right on the lips. Her first kiss vanished from her gasp, as Cedric kissed so more. She couldn't hold back the sensation of his perfect lips on hers. Once, he stopped, she acted like a spoil child wanting more, but she couldn't say anything.


Cedric had a smile on his face, "You don't know how long I waited for you to say that." 


"What?" Mei still dizzy from the kiss.


"I like you. I like everything about you, ever since you kissed me on the cheek."


"What?" Mei repeated herself, "How about Cho?"


"Cho and I liked each other, but the more time I was with you, I realized, that if I had to choose, it would have been you." Cedric whispered, since students were passing them.


Mei again, were into tears, but this time tears of happiness, "Why didn't you ask me to the Ball then! And snogging with her!?" She told him, hitting his shoulder.


"I had asked her, when I didn't realize our my feelings for you, and I tried to make you jealous because you went with George! Besides I thought you had feelings for someone else." Mei jumped and hugged him, kissing him on the lips again. 


"I love you." Cedric whispered again, "How about we go to the perfect's bathroom together?"


"To do what?" Mei asked.


He smirked, "Secret."

The story isn't over, because Cedric and Mei together, cause Mei still has three more years of Hogwarts! Besides, what will happen with Cho, George, and Seamus? Also, what will happen between Draco and Harry's relationship (I should add more of them :P)
