Chapter 45 - The Ceremony

"Professor Dumbledore..." Mei trailed off seeing him on the ground. 

The students and teachers around, who were crying, started to raise their wands in tribute. Mei cried even more, as Harry beside his body, but it made her cry that Draco wasn't the one comforting him, but Ginny. She knew that she loved Dean, but she worried about Draco. 

"Mei, Cedric is in the hospital wing." Professor Sprout told her, and she soon began walking there, and even being joined by Harry and Ginny.

Mei stood crying, as Cedric laid on the bed, badly injured. She wished that she stayed with him. Mei thought, if she was hurt, then it would be better than seeing Cedric hurt. Though, she knew Cedric was thinking the same way. At least, it wasn't as bad as Bill. He got slashed and ripped by a werewolf, leaving Fleur more sad than she eve saw her. At least his mother knew Fleur truely loved her. 

"He will wake-up soon." Seamus declared, as she sat down next to her, and once he said that, Cedric's eyes fluttered open. 

He smiled, like he always did, but she could see he was in pain, "Mei." He gently hugged her and she did so to, since she was scared to hurt him even longer. 

"I'm glad you're alive." 

"Me too." Again he tried to get back-up. 

Mei gently, put her hand on his shoulder."Lay down, it is for the best. I don't want to see you hurt." 

Cedric nodded, laying back down. 

"What happened?" He asked, but Mei looked away, "Did something bad happen?" Mei nodded. 

"D-dumbledore d-died." She strutted, as she saw the shock on his face. 

"What?" He stood up, "Who killed him!?" 

Mei bit her lip, "Professor Snape." She whispered. 

Again, Cedric was shocked, "Is there anything else?" He asked, as he wiped away his own tears. 

"Draco," She began, "He's gone."  

Cedric looked curiously at her, "What do you mean, he is gone?" 

"He is gone, with Voldemort." Harry stepped in, "He decided to join him for the safety of his family." 

"No!" Mei yelled, not wanting to believe it. 

Harry patted her back, "It's a shock for you, but it's true. We can just only hope, that he will be safe, and not actually fall for the dark side."

A few days later, it was Dumbledore's funeral. Many wizards came from all over the world for his funeral. It made Harry cringed that Rita Skeeter and Dolores Umbridge came, but not wanting to cause commotion at the funeral he kept his mouth shut. 

Mei and the rest of the students stayed behind, wore what the dressed for the Yule Ball. It brought back memories from it, but Mei tried to push them away, remembering she came here for Dumbledore. 

So, after Cedric and Mei found a seat and it started, the Merpeople started singing a song that Mei 

didn't recognize. Htough, it shoed the despair, that many people felt who were at the ceremony. Hagrid, who was crying cmae in, carrying Dumbledore's body, which made Mei cry so much. 

She could see Cedric beside her, and she knew he was holding in her tears, "Cedric, just let it out. You don't have to be manly in front of me." 

Cedric smiled, "When, I was dating Cho, she would always make fun of me for crying. I love you Mei." He kissed her and soon the tears started to flow down. 

Once, Dumbledore's body was laid on the table, a little tuffy-haired man, started to begin a speech, which Mei paid a lot of attention too. However, Harry did not, he looked around to see that the centaurs were there, but Harry then saw that merpeople were there too. though, he did begin to pay attention to the speech. 

"Mei, can you hug me?" Cedric, asked as the ceremony was about to end. 

"Of course." She smiled, and hugged him until bright, white flames had erupted around Dumbledore's body and the table upon which he lay.

Mei was amazed as he went as his body went higher and higher, obscuring the body. White smokespiralled into the air and made strange shapes.When the fire vanished, in its place was a white marble tomb, encasing Dumbledore's body and the table on which he had rested.  

This time, Cedric had hugged Mei, tightly. She soon started crying even more than before. Tears started trickling down her shoulder, as Cedric leaned on it, crying. As, a sign of respect the centaurs shot arrows, which didn't hit the crowd. 

Mei noticed, Harry. His face was in his hands, and she could see a river of tears coming down. Someone he trusted died, and his lover is gone. She looked at Cedric, hugging him even more tightly and she kissed him on the cheek. 

"Thank-you for being with me." Mei declared, as she looked back at Harry, "I'm just happy I have someone to comfort me right now." 

"Me too."

"Your parents said you are staying with me." Cedric, declared, as he pushed her trunks away from the Hogwarts express. 

"Why?" Mei asked, wanting the comfort from her parents. 

"They don't want you to get hurt." He told her.

Mei looked crossed her arms, "Nut I'm can be safe with them!" She whined. 

"Mei, death eaters may want you. Remember what Lucius said, last year?" Mei recalled, when she got the howler in the very exact place and from the man she hated the most, "He is part of the crowd, so you're in danger." 

She nodded, agreeing to her parents decision, "At least I'm with you." 

"Yeah! And you can spend your summer, with Fleur. You can help her, with their wedding-" 

"Bill and Fleur are getting married!?" Mei yelled, in excitement. 

Cedric nodded, blushing as he put his hand in his pocket, feeling the velvet ring box, "Yup, and there is something I want to tell you." 

"Well, tell me!" She said, hoping for more amazing news. 

He smirked, "Just be patience." He kissed her forehead, "And I can help you with your quidditch skills too!"

"Hey!" Mei yelled, "I'm awesome!" 

Cedric smiled, "That's why I love you." He cooed. 

Mei blushed, not expecting that, "I love you too."

Chapter 44 - Battle of the Astronomy Tower

This is a majour part in the series, and due to the fact that I haven't read the book yet, it's hard for me to describe it. So, sorry for my horrible writing and hope you enjoy ^^ Also, remember, I changed the story to fit my story, so please be nice and don't make rude comments and such. Plus, I was lazy to finish it before 2011 so again, im sorry (^^;

June rolled around in  the Hogwarts castle and Mei was freaking out. Ever since, Cedric had sent her the letter after the quidditch match, she was scared to come out of her room. She wrote him back, but no sign of an owl, dropping a letter in her lap in the morning.


"Mei, I bet it's just a joke from Bill or something." Ron declared, as she leaned on his shoulder in the common room.


"No!" She cried, "It was definitely Cedric's writing, what would he mean?" 


Hermione nodded, "I saw it too, and it was obviously- Mei!" Hermione pointed at the window, and there was Kaname his wings. 


Seamus who was nearest to the window, opened it and un-tied the letter. Kaname flew away and Mei rushed to see who was the letter. When she un-rolled, she sighed in relief since it was from Cedric. 
"Come to the great hall." Ron declared, as he read it aloud.


Mei looked worried, "Should I go?" 


Everyone nodded, and off Mei went. It was at night, so she quietly hid behind many randoms things that were in the hall. She didn't want to get herself caught and get detention. Only, a few meters away from the great hall, she sprinted, not caring who say her. Once, she reached there, no one was there.


Suddenly, someone wrapped their arms around, Mei's waist, "Cedric!" She yelled, hugging him as she turned around, "What are you doing here?" She giggled, knowing she had said that so many times when meeting him.


"Mei, you're in danger! Professor Dumbledore told a few of us to come here, to protect the students. Mei, stay in your common room, don't go out!" Mei nodded as, Cedric kept telling her what to do, "Accio broom!" He yelled, and in a few minutes one came into his hands.


Mei jumped on it after, Cedric suggested to. They flew to the fat lady, but stopped as Ron, Hermione, Ginny, Seamus, and Dean running down the hall.


"What are you guys doing here!? Get back to your common room!" 


"No!" Hermione protested, "Just follow us!" Not wanting his friends to get hurt, Cedric followed them, which they were going to the room of requirements.


Hermione got one of her D.A coins and a few minutes later, only Luna and Neville were there. Ron closed is eyes and the door to the room was relieved.


Cedric sighed, kissing Mei, "I got to go. I'm sorry-"


"No! Stay with me, I don't want you to get hurt!" Mei responded, but again Cedric kissed her.


Cedric took off in his broom, but declared before leaving, "Seamus take care of her." He nodded and lead he crying Mei in the room.


"Hermione, Luna, and Mei." Go monitor Professor Snape;s office-"


"Mei has to stay with me." Seamus protested, grabbing Mei's hand.


Ron groaned, "This is a life or death situation-"


"I know it is!" Seamus retorted, "Cedric, left me with Mei! she must stay with me!" 


Ron crossed his arms, but let it go, "Hermione and Luna go! The rest of us will be here, except you two. You guys will be staying in here." He pointed at Mei and the two nodded, as they saw people leave.
Mei kissed Seamus, as bunch of pillows appeared, "Thanks for staying with me, I need best-friend right now." He blushed and the two laid down on the pillows.

"Draco, years ago, I knew a boy, who made all the wrong choices. Please, let me help you." Dumbledore pleaded. 


Draco cried, "I dont want your help! Don't you understand? I have to do this! I have to kill you! Or he's gonna kill me.."


Harry couldn't believe his ears, at the conversation he had heard. Draco, was the one letting Death Eaters in. Harry's guesses were right. Draco had join the Voldemort. Though, why? He loved Harry and vice-versa, and Voldemort wanted to kill him, so why would Draco do this?


"You have options-" Dumbledore began.


"You don't think, I thought about that!? I have no choice! All due to my dumb father, I have to go with the person, who wants to kill my lover! And don't say you understand, because I knew you don't, so I'm going to kill you-"


He had interrupted Draco, "All this time, I knew you were going to kill me Draco. Though, Draco I can protect you. Yourself, your mother, even your father if you wish. I will protect them, and with all my strength you and Harry will be together."


Draco turned away, as Harry could see tears cascading down. He lowered his wand, and Harry was happy, but it soon ended as Death Eaters Alecto and Amycus Carrow, Thorfinn Rowle, and the werewolf, FenrirGreyback, came inside. Harry could tell they were impress that Draco, a  sixth year could disarm Dumbledore, but was furious that he didn't kill him yet.


"Now, Draco, quickly!" said the brutal-faced man.


However, Draco was shaking as he lifted his wand, "I'll do it!" Fenrir yelled, as he reached for Dumbledore with his long arms.


"I said no!" The burtal-faced man declared, as a shot of light hit Fenrir, which blasted him off into a different part of the room.


Harry closed his eyes and covered his ears, trying not to see what would happen to the person he trusted most. Though, before he could close them competely, he could see Professor Snape come in. He sighed, since he knew he was on their side. After, a few minutes he opened his eyes, but Snape's wand pointed at Dumbledore.


"Severus.... Please" 


However, Snape had risen his wand and creamed, "Avada Kedavra!" A jet of green lgiths hot from Snape's wand and hit Dumbledore in the chest.


Harry saw everything, as Dumbledore, as he was blasted in the air. He reached out his arms, as he stood near the window, but he eventually fell backwards, and out the window. It came so slowly for Harry, he looked over to Professor Snape, who made no expression, but looked at Draco, who was already in tears.


"I'm sorry, Harry." he could see Draco mouth.


"Out of here, quickly." Snape declared, as forced Draco to follow them.


Harry saw as they were about to leave and threw off the invisibility cloak. He yelled out a spell, hitting one of the death eaters. He didn't care who was in his way, he headed to the entrance hall and saw Snape and Draco. He shouted another spell, but missed.


"Harry?" Draco turned around to see harry, who's face was burning with rage.


"Run, Draco!" Snape screamed.


"No! I want to be with Harry." He tried to run to Harry, but was pulled back by Snape, "Harry!" Draco screamed, but Snape didn't let go.


Harry was about to say another, spell, but Snape interrupted him, "If you dare cast a spell, you might danger Draco!" Harry lowered down his wand, "Go Draco. You or mother don't want to get hurt, right?"


Draco nodded, "Harry, I'm sorry." Tears began to from again, and he started to run.


After, Harry and Sanpe, yelled spells at each other Harry tried to use a spell from the Half-Blood Prince, but was shocked with Snape had told him it was he who would does spells. Again, they started to shout spells at each other, but snape had finally went out of the school's boundaries, letting his disapparate.


Harry went on his knees crying, "Dumbledore is dead." He mumbled.

Chapter 43 - Danger

After a wonderful Christmas with her family and her boy-friend's family, her life at Hogwarts was somewhat normal. Ginny and herself were finally getting along, after she admitted that she loved Dean, not Harry. Also, her quidditch skills seemed to gain every practice or game. Though, due to the fact Ron getting poisoned, and Cormac replaced him, their team wasn't doing well. 


Herself and Cedric's relationship spiraled up as, Cedric seemed to be more love-dovey. Especially, since he kept talking to Bill, about their relationship. Also, Seamus's relation ship with Mei was going great. They got closer, which Seamus bragged about to his roommate almost every night. 


Mei's grades were also great. She was still one of the best in her class. However, her great year bothered Harry, as he was having on the worst. His classes with Dumbledore were going great until he had to get a memory from Professor Slughorn. It was hard and annoyed him, that he couldn't get it. 
His best-friend was poisoned, but at least his two friends were finally friends with each other and by the Ron and Lavender broke-up. Lastly, Draco has been ignoring him they didn't even talking in the past two months. At least his team might have a chance to win the Quidditch Cup.

"Katie, you are back." Harry said, as he saw her in the great hall.


Katie smiled, "Harry, I know what you're going to ask. who gave me the necklace, right?" 
Harry turned red and nodded, "I'm sorry for asking, but yeah." 


"Well, someone Imperiused me in the girl's bathroom in Rosmerta's Pub in Hogsmead-" She stared at the person behind her.


Harry turned around and he was face to face with Draco, which didn't happen in months, "Draco!" he yelle,d leaving Katie. 


Draco ran out of the great hall, but Harry didn't stop. He followed him for minutes, but somehow he lost him. Even, though there was the final quidditch match, he wanted to talk to Draco so badly.


After, several other minutes of searching, Harry thought he would give up, but after hearing some crying near the girl's bathroom, he took his chance. 


"Draco?" Harry whispered, but only crying was heard. 


"I've failed, I've failed." He knew it was Draco, knowing how he sounds when he was crying. 


He stepped closer to the washroom, "Draco?" He again whispered, and this Draco looked up, but he did not know it was Harry, and he thought it was someone else. 


"Cr-" 


Harry himself thought it was someone else too, so he interrupted, "Sectumsempra!" He yelled, coming out of the corner, before Draco could finish the torture curse. 


There was a bright light and soon, covered in blood, Draco was lying on the floor. Harry screamed, and couldn't believe he would do that to the one he loved. He laid on the floor, i tears as the pain was all over his body. 


"No. Draco, I thought-" 


"You didn't mean it, I know, but-" He looked away, "I have a secret to tell you, because my father went to Azkaban, I-" 


Suddenly, Professor Snape came inside, looking horrified at Draco on the floor, "Potter detention now, andquidditch can not stop you! My office!" Harry nodded still looking at Draco on the floor, before he left he kissed on the cheek.

"Where is Harry?" Mei asked, as the Gryffindor quidditch team was in the change-room.
"Last time I saw him, he was following Draco." Katie told them. 


Ginny soon walked in, "He has gotten detention! And on a day like this!" She yelled. 


"What are we going to do?" Mei asked. 


"Like we always do." Ginny replied, "I will be playing seeker, we will have our regular beaters. Ron is our keeper, and finally Katie, Mei, and Dean is our chaser! Everyone clear?" Ginny asked, and everyone nodded. 

"Go Gryffindor!" Mei cheered.

After, Harry's detention he headed back to the common room, crying. He had missed the finally quidditch match. Plus, he had hurt Draco, so badly, that so he never seen much blood. He told the password to the Fat Lady, and once he came in, he was hit by a huge loud of cheers. 


"Harry we won!" Mei excitedly yelled, as she hugged him, "I scored so many goals, you should have seen there faces! Not to mention Ginny, who caught the snitch!" Mei smiled, as Ginny kissed Dean and lifted up in the air. 


Harry again hugged Mei and then Ron, Hermione, and Ginny. He had even forgot about what happened with Draco, as he and Seamus cheered. Mei again ran up to Harry, but hugged Seamus, and the two laughed when harry, this time was lifted up. 


"Tell her!" Harry mouthed, as he laughed as the threw him in the air. 


Seamus sighed, "Mei," He began. "Ever since you came to this school, I've always-" 


"Kaname!?" Mei interrupted as she saw her owl, tapping on the window. 


She headed over to her owl, leaving Seamus, "Why does this always happen to me!?" He groaned, as he punched the wall. 


Mei opened the window, letting in the bird. She un-wrapped the , which was tied on his leg, and sent him away. To her surprise it was Cedric. It had been hours since they won, but Cedric, couldn't know that fast, so she opened it, to only see a sentence.


You are in danger, Mei.

I decided to make Ginny and Dean go together, because I love Drarry~ So, I'm sorry if you're a Harry andGinny shipper, I love them too, but I'm just mixing it up.

Chapter 42 - At the Burrow

"Welcome, Amos!" Mei timidly came inside, hiding behind Cedric. 

Mei followed Cedric, trying not to be seen by anyone. Especially, George, who had broken her heart. Suddenly, someone came up behind her. Scared, it was George, she whipped out her wand, though she was relieved it was Mrs. Weasley.


"The kids are upstairs." She smiled, and lead her upstairs.

As, they reached upstairs, Mrs. Wealsey opened the door to reveal that the two were playing with some items form Fred and George's joke shop, "Look, who is here!" Mei waved, as she entered and Mrs. Molly closing the door behind her.

"Bloody hell! If George saw you-"

Harry glared at Ron, as he interrupted him, "What he means is, why are you here?" "

"It's obvious! Dad, asked the Diggory's to have dinner with us and of course Mei is staying with Cedric-"


"I SAW CEDRIC DOWNSTAIRS, IS MEI- What are you freaks doing?" George asked, as he saw Ron and Harry laying down, posing weirdly over a blanket.


"Cedric's here? Well, tell him we said hi." Ron declared, trying to shoo him away." 


"Okay." George said, still looking weirdly at them, even when he was leaving.

After a few minutes of waiting, Mei came out of the blanket, "You two are seriously heavy! and thank-you." She sighed, "Anyway, I came here with Cedric, so I'm spending my Christmas with him, but my parents are coming too." Harry and Ron nodded. 


"Ron, mom wanted me to say- Mei!?" George had once again entered the room, "You two lied to me!" He yelled again as, Mei sneaked out of the room, running down the stairs, hiding behind Cedric, once she found him. 


Cedric smirked, "It's obvious that you are avoiding him." He whispered, "Also, once Fleur saw me, she asked where you were."


"Fleur is here?" Mei asked excitedly, and Cedric nodded.


"She is dating one of George's brother, Bill. She said if I saw you, she would be outside." Mei nodded, and headed to the door, she almost sprinted when she saw George's feet on the stairs.


Mei stretched as she was in the cold scene of the Burrow. Everything was covered in snow, and Mei loved snow. Growing up in Canada and different Asian countries, which snowed there a lot, made her love it. 


"Eez that you Mei?" She heard Fleur's voice, but she couldn't tell where it was coming from, though suddenly, she was given a hug, "I 'aven't seen you in ages!" She excitedly cried. 


"I missed you so much!" Mei replied, as they still hug.


"'ave you met Bill? 'e ez very wonderful Better than other guys, I 'ave met before." 


Mei giggled, "Even Roger?" 


Fleur lightly hit Mei on the shoulder, "Other than Cedric, 'e was ze most suitable for me." She told in a sarcastic tone.

"Well, I'm sorry, but he is mine now." 


Fleur smiled, "But 'ow about you and George? 'e always talks about you and when you two were dating." 


Mei scratched the back of her head, "Really? We did date, but he left. not saying a word to me, and after weeks of waiting, I finally get a letter, with no information and all that time Cedric was with me. he loved me, better than George did, and we broke-up. He should really move on."


"Mei, 'e loves you, 'e just can't move on, and you can't push away your pain, it will just come back." Fleur replied.


Mei smiled, "Than, he should have told me what happened. Enough about me, let's go inside, it's getting cold." Fleur nodded and the two headed inside. 

Though, they didn't realize that George emerging from the pile of snow, that he was hiding behind. He heard their whole conversation.

"You are so good at cooking, Mrs. Weasley." Mei complimented her. 
She blushed, "Why thank-you, dear. I wish I had a amazing daughter-in-law, like you." She said, eyeing Fleur.

"Well, maybe you can, you may never know. A young lady like Mei has years to choose her husband. Maybe it will be one of the Weasley boys." Amos declared laughing, as George glared at him.

Molly laughed too, "I don't think so, I saw Cedric looking at amazing ri-"

"Who wants pie!?" Cedric asked excitedly, as Bill came with a huge one, which distracted everyone from what Mrs. Wealsey was just talking about.

After, getting a piece of his own, he was dragged by Bill up the stairs. George seemed to be the only one noticing that, due to the fact, he was the only one listening to his mom when she was talking about Cedric. He followed them secretly, and when they went inside a room, he ran to his won, grabbing one of the ears he had used the year before. He slid it under the door, and ran to a room nearby, and listened to the whole question. 


"Long time no see, Cedric and you've got yourself a pretty great girl-friend." Bill began. 


"Yeah, she is amazing. I don't know what I would do without her." After, George heard this, he made a gagging noise.  


"How long have you two been dating?" 


Cedric responded quickly, "About two years." 


"And already popping the marriage question!? You two must be in love, like Fleur and I"  


George heard him laugh, but to seemed like he was nervous."I'm not going to ask her to marry me. We are to young!" 


"If I'm not correct, my mom was about to say rings. Just admit it to me-" He couldn't hear anything, only a few whispers, but in a few minutes, Bill started to talk again, "Have you got a ring?" Another pause of silence, "That is amazing! She will love that, but when are you going to ask her?" 


Finally, George heard Cedric's voice, "Maybe at the end of her seventh year." 


"Maybe, do it more soon. Voldemort is alive, maybe you should ask her to marry you in the-" George pulled back the ear and ran to his room. 


He told Bill, that he loved Mei. Though, he wanted Cedric and Mei together? His own brother against him! George, went back downstairs mad as ever. The chatters of people with pie, hurt his ears, and he went outside, taking some fresh air.


He promised himself, "I will make it so, that they will never marry."

Mei, Cedric and his father, were back after the fun night with the Weasleys. Mei was tired and was already sleeping on Cedric's chest. 


"Mei, I love you." He kissed his forehead, "I love you so much, will you marry me?" Cedric looked at Mei hadn't moved from her sleeping position, "No other guy, can marry you." Again he kissed her forehead, and he to drifted into sleeping.
