Hey people~! I
know I haven't updated in the longest of time, but I've just been busy
with school, blah blah blah, same old same old. But also i have writer's
block for this story, but after watching the series again and
re-reading my story, I've gotten more ideas and I'm more inspired to
update again. So, hopefully there will be more frequent updates on this
story. Anyway, those were my announcements sort of (^^; now enjoy the
story~

"Welcome to a new year at hogwarts, I will be your new headmaster, hence I will now be called Headmaster Snape."
Everyone glared at him as he stood where Dumbledore should have stood,
"Now we will be announcing that this year's two new faculty members."
Behind two people had came out of the shadows, "How could they!?" Ginny cried as she realized who the two people were.
"Professor Amycus Carrow will be teaching defense against the dark arts and Professor Alecto Carrow will be in charge of muggle studies. The two will also be deputy headmasters-"
"All
faculty will be reporting to us for any rule breaking." Said the man,
who Mei thought was just awfully ugly for a muscular man.
The girl beside him smirked, "We will also be in charge of the punishment." The two again smirked and went back to their seats.
Suddenly
the food that everyone loved eating were place in front of them.
However, it was as if the life was sucked out of them, no one was
chattering and having fun like previous years. Even, the boastful Slytherins
had seemed to quiet themselves down. After, a quiet feast everyone were
lead by their head people and prefects, which included Mei who was the
head girl for Gryffindor. Once, she announced the password for this
year, all the Gryffindors hurriedly went inside, not saying a word until they felt safe in the common room.
"I
can't believe that they would allow to have death eaters as our
teachers!" Ginny again had complained as she, Seamus, Neville, and Mei
were sitting around her near the fireplace.
Mei
sighed, "At least Harry isn't here, they would have hurt him and
he-who-shall-not-be-named would arrive." She quivered at the thought, of
the snake like creature at Hogwarts, a place where it was suppose to be
safe.
"If
Harry came, he would have gotten caught on the train, remember?"
Neville had stated, and Mei nodded, she had tried to forget about that.
"What are we going to do without Harry?" Seamus asked, slumping in his seat.
Ginny
then abruptly slapped him, "Seamus don't think like that! We are strong
like Harry, we can." Ginny stopped herself deciding what to do. "We can
restore Dumbledore's Army!"
"How can we do that without Harry?" Seamus asked, but Ginny smirked.
"You
still have your coin with you?" He nodded, "Then we have hope." Her
eyes were shining and then she headed to her room thinking about her
plan, in a few minutes Neville went to his room, leaving Mei and Seamus
together.
There was a few minutes of awkward silence until Mei spoke up, "Are you alright? You seem down."
Seamus
smiled a bit, "I'm just scared, not only for myself and my family, but
for Dean, he doesn't know if he is a half-blood or muggle born since his dad left him when he was very young. Though, I'm mostly scared for you."
"Why?" She asked.
He
looked sternly at her, "Why? Don't you remember what happened on the
train!? You're important to me, and I don't want to loose you."
Mei
smiled trying to hold back together, "You're important to me too,
you're my best friend, and the only one this year that could help me."
She went closer to him and gave him a big hug.
"Yeah,
best friends." Seamus was a bit disappointed with that, it's been three
years since she had moved to Hogwarts, but she still didn't know his
feelings for her, "Best friends who tell each other everything, right? I
need to say something to you-"
"Me
too." She interrupted, show the sparkling ring she had making Seamus'
jaw drop to the floor, "Cedric asked me to marry him, and I said yes."
She
smiled hesitantly, knowing that people would think they're crazy even
if he was her best friend. Again, several minutes were spent with Seamus
stuttering and Mei blushing. She felt sort of relieved that everyone in
the common room had left and it was only those two left.
"I'm
shocked, but I would like to congratulate you. You two are p-perfect."
Seamus smiled, hugging her again, once he let go of the hug he wiped his
eyes before she could see, "We should get some sleep now. don't want to
be late to our first class of your seventh year, right?"
She
nodded and kissed him on his forehead, "Goodnight, and don't tell about
what I told you to anyone, got it?" Seamus gave her a thumbs up and she
headed up to her room.
When
she was finally out of sight, Seamus slumped with his head in his
hands, "How can I stop loving her when she goes and kisses me!"

"Hurry up Neville!" Seamus groaned as himself and Mei were already at the door of their defense against the dark arts class.
Once, they were seated, Professor Amycus Carrow,
came in smiling, "Hello students welcome to your defense against the
dark arts class. However, this year the curriculum has changed due to
the Dark Lord." He smiled at the students, who were very scared, "There
is now longer any defense in this class, so this class will now just be
focused on the dark arts."
Many students whispered to each other about this news. Others were happy, which were usually Slytherins which everyone knew had death eater parents, like Crabbe and Goyle,
though others were mostly scared for their lives. All of sudden, with
the wave of his wand, the desk were move to the side and chairs were
slipped under people's bottom if they were not fast enough to get out,
"Can someone tell me what the unforgivable curses are?" He asked, but no one dared to raise their hand up.
"They're three most powerful and sinister spells known to the wizarding world." Pansy declared as he looked at her, "There are the killing, cruciatus, and imperious curses."
"Good, now everyone this year we will be learning and practicing these curses this year."
"WHAT!?" Mei had yelled, but immediately covering her mouth as he was coming closer to her.
Seamus immediately grabbed her hand, "Miss Kuran, what was that sudden outburst for? Lucius
had told me that you're very good at spells so this will come easy to
you." Then he came closer, so that his mouth was only a few centimeters
away from her ear, "If you ever do that again, you'll be sorry."
She
nodded, squeezing Seamus' hand harder. He gave her another menacing
look at left to teach the class again, "Will you be alright?" Seamus
asked, looking at Mei who turned a sickling pale color.
Mei
shook her head and tightened her grip on Seamus' hand, "I'm scared."
Was all she said for the rest of the class as she hid behind Seamus.
With Seamus beside her, she silently went to find a compartment for themselves.
Usually, the train was pcked with excited students ready to go to
Hogwarts, however this was not the case. For one, the numbers had
reduced and no one seemed happy, but peole seemed gloomy except for a
certain amount of Slytherins.
"This one is empty." Seamus declared, as he entered the compartment, he set up his stuff and so did she.
Soon, later they were joined by Luna, Ginny, and Neville, who were as equally as gloomy s the rest of the students.
Once, they set up their own baggage, the train left and as Ginny saw her
family's faces getting blurry by the second, she started balling with
tears.
"Ron left. I don't know where he is, not even Hermione
or Harry." Ginny sobbed louder, "I'm scared this war has separated my
family."
Luna took a hold of Ginny's hand and squeezed it hard "It will be alright." Luna replied.
"How would you know?" She retorted, but Luna didn't flinch towards her anger, "I miss them so muc-"
"Will
you glady shut your ugly mouths." Pansy had just opened their
compartment door and look directly at Mei, "We're having a prefect
meeting. So, hurry now, Kuran."
Mei looked at the others, who
still had gloomy faces, they didn't seem to care if Mei was going with
some Slytherins. When, she was about to leave, Seamus grabbed her hand
and followed her. It was silent in the hall, but suddenly a screeching
sound came. Mei and Seamus was startled as they could feel the train
slow down and adruptly stop.
She could feel Seamus' hand tighten, as Cormac's voice could be heard saying, "My father will hear about this." They looked at each other and ran back to their compartment.
"He's not here!" Neville had told the Death Eaters, which were standing in front of Seamus and Mei.
"Oh,
look here, isn't it Mei Kuran. Lucius would be glad to hear that you're
still the same beautiful girl." the other Death Eaters had smirked,
"Well, for now."
The Death Eaters had pushed themselves past both of them, with Mei's eyes almost bulging out of it's socket.
She couldn't believe her parents were right. She was in danger even with her protective friends
"
What are you talking about?" Mei asked, flustered at what her parents said.
"Mei, it's not safe for you to go back there. There will be death eaters, that would be connected to Lucius so if they aren't trying to hurt Hermione, Harry or even one of the Weasleys, they will probably get you."
Tears
started to build up in her eyes, "But I have friends to keep safe, and
they will keep me safe." Suddenly, her watch on her wrist started tingly
and the screen had popped up with Seamus' face.
"Mei!? I heard what happened! Are you okay? Are you safe? Is Cedric there without you, if not i'll come-"
"Slow down there Seamus." Cedric was the one who responded to him, "Everything is fine, so far."
"SO FAR-"
"Seamus."
Mei declared, "I'm safe, thank you for caring." She looked at her
parents, who she knew understood that Seamus need her by his side, or he
would go berserk, wondering if she was okay.
Suddenly, a huge
grin came upon Seamus' face, however it vanished as he noticed that
Cedric and Mei were not the only ones watching him. Her parents and
Cedric's also noticed the change of mood as Seamus' hologram head kept
looking back from Mei to each of the parents. He wiped the sweat on his
forehead and waved.
"Did i disturb something?" He asked, and
Mei tried her hardest to hold in her laughter, "Anyways, have you gotten
your stuff for our seventh year?"
Mei nodded, "But i might not be going this year."
"WHAT!? Mr and Mrs. Kuran, you need to let her go!"
The conversation of this went on all night, until the Kurans found out that Voldemort actually had taken over the ministry of magic and it was mandatory for students to go back to hogwarts.

"Cedric can't you go with me?" Mei asked as Cedric had dropped her right in front of King's Cross station.
Cedric
sighed and kissed Mei first on her forehead, then her cheeks, then
finally her lips, "I'm sorry, but there are strict rule on tardiness in
the ministry- Hey, try to be more happier." He saw Mei's face had just
lost all happiness.
"How can I? With muggles
being rounded up, people getting killed, how can one be happy in a war?
I wish I could stay with you." Mei declared, as little tears cascading
down her cheek.
He kissed her again, "I'm always an owl away,
besides it won't last forever with Harry Potter alive. Plus, if you ever
feel lonely, remember." He took her left hand, and kiss her ring
finger, "I bet this will be soon over, and we can start our forever."
Mei swiped the tears that had starting to become more evident, "I love you." She cooed.
"I love you too." Cedric said blowing a kiss in her direction.
Mei
sighed and walked into King's Cross Station like the other Hogwarts
student she noticed. She soon met up with Seamus, and the headed into
platform 9 3/4. However, it was not the happy environment that she was
used to. There were death eaters in every diretion, quickly getting the children onto the train.
"Mei Kuran?" One of the death eaters asked as she got to the front of the line to the train, she nodded and scurried away.
"MOM!? DAD!?" Mei screamed as she had arrived at her house with Cedric.
"Mei?" She heard her dad's trembling voice, and ran to where she was hearing it.
There
she saw her parents who seemed to be shaken up, "We heard about the
ministry and what happened at the wedding." Mei had ran into her
parent's arms, "We didn't know if you were safe or not."
Her eyes were welling up and she hugged her parents tighter, "I wouldn't have gotten out there alive if it wasn't for Cedric."
Cedric
had joined the hug and after a few seconds of silence, something came
whizzing through the window. It scared everyone so much, that Mei's mom
feel to the floor. However, it turned out to be a patronus. They were relieved but wonder where it came from. However, suddenly a voice rang through their ears.
"Mr. and Mrs. Kur- I mean mom and dad, go hide. Hide with the Diggory's, pack a trunk and go, before they come here. I'm secretly trying to top them, so hurry and go." The patronus disappeared and the two ran off into their room and pack.
"Mei go! go back with Cedric, we'll meet you there." Her mom told her.
"No! I'll help you!" Mei retorted.
Her
mom hugged her once more, "Go Mei, we'll be fine." Mei was shaking her
head, tears filling in her eyes again, "Cedric." Her mom looked at him
and he grabbed her hand and disapparated.

They dropped back at the Diggory home, "Will they be okay?" Mei asked.
"Just sleep, it's been a long night, I'll wake you up when they come." Mei nodded and headed to Cedric's room.
When
his door closed, he jumped on the couch, ready to sleep himself, but
was interrupted by a door opening, "Cedric we need to talk." He yawned,
just ignoring his dad.
"Cedric, this important. It's about
what you said." His eyes widen forgetting he told his dad (at the wrong
moment) about his engagement, "Don't you think, you're going too fast?"
Cedric shot up from the couch and was face to face with his parents, "You know I love Mei-"
"But she is only graduating this year! Plus, you're starting your career at the ministry."
"You
know what happened, You-Know-Who is in power, so what's the use of my
career? I should have asked before, like Bill and Fleur." Cedric
replied.
His mom sighed, "And then Death Eaters showed up at their wedding reception! Beside, do you really think Mei is the one?"
Cedric
nodded, "I want to let her know that I love her forever, and with
you-know-who in power, I think it's the best time." He sighed, trying to
push the idea of not being together again out of his mind "Before it's
too late."
Both of his parent's smiled, "Well then congratulations on the engagement."
"ENGAGEMENT!?"
Behind his parents he saw Mei's with their trunks, "You two have gotten
engaged!? That's amazing, I'm getting a son!" Mei's mom ran over to
Cedric hugging him, and her dad shaking his hand.
"Mei! Your
parents are here!" Cedric yelled, and in a few seconds Mei came running
in and immediately their moms took her hand to examine the ring.
Mei's mom was tearing up, "That is beautiful Cedric."
"Good
pick, the ring is so her." His mom declared, "I can finally plan a
wedding! This will be amazing!" The two moms began wedding planning.
"Wait." Cedric's father said, "Why are you two here?"
"Someone told us to come here, they were coming for us." Mei's dad respond.
Both
of Cedric's parents were shocked, "That means all of you are in
trouble, we can't let you get caught." Cedric's dad had declared.
"I know, so we're planning to not let Mei go back to Hogwarts."
"WHAT!?"
I am so so
sorry... i got so busy with school, the musical i was in, sports, and i
also had different stories to update! I am seriously sorry.. but I hope
you like the chapter.

A
Patronus flew passed them as Cedric and Mei entered the tent again.
People were screaming and disapparating everywhere they looked. They
were shocked, suddenly Cedric got a hold of Krum's arm.
"What's happening here?"
"The
ministry has fallen, it has been taken over by you-know-who." He tried
to break away from Cedric's grip but couldn't, "Let me go! We all need
to leave." Cedric let him go, and off in whirl he went in the air.
Suddenly,
people in black coats had appeared around them, and more screams were
heard. Spells were flashing right before their eyes, as they ran to the exit.
"You're not going anymore." A death eater had told them, as he was blocking the entrance, ready to say a spell.
Cedric and Mei scrambled away from him, scared if they disapparated, that one
of the death Eaters will catch them. Once, they got to the far corner of
the tent, Mei gripped his hand tightly, and they too disapparated as
quickly as they could, since a death eater were coming their way. In a matter of seconds, they were back home at the Diggory's.
"Mom? Dad?" Cedric called.
Quickly,
Cedric let go of Mei's hand and was pinned to the wall by Mr. Diggory
with his wand pointed to the temple of his forehead, "When Cedric was eleven, what animal did he really want, but was too dangerous to get?"
"Dad, do you really have to do this?"
Mei bit her lip, as Mr. Diggory's face was serious, "Just answer, him."
"I wanted a dragon." Cedric rolled his eyes, but then grabbed Mei as Mr. Diggory pointed his wand at Mei.
"When was the first time did I see Mei?"
Mei smiled, "The third task for the triwizard tournament."
Mr. Diggory sighed, "I'm sorry I had to do that, but I just had to make sure."
Cedric patted his father's back, "You heard it too?" He nodded and stretched out his hands and
hugged Cedric.
At
the sight of this, Mei's eyes widen in shock, "My parents!" She yelled,
and the two looked over to her, "I'm sorry, but I need to go, I need to
be with them. They probably know already."
"Mei, it's dangerous-"
"How
could I be so stupid!?" Mei yelled has in her hair, with the two
diggory males looking at her weirdly, "The death eaters will come for my
family! Malfoy is going to want revenge! I need to go!"
Mei was about to disapparate, but Cedric back hugged her, "You can't."
"Cedric, you can't make her stay." His father told him, "And I need you here not only for me, but
your mother too."
"But she is my fiance! I need to be with her, I'm sorry." They disapparated at that moment.
