Chapter 48 - Propose

sorry for the short chapter, but I promise, I'll make a longer one next time (^^; Also, this chapter will be very exciting~ ....i hope you think that like i do :D

"Do it now." Bill told Cedric, as they hung out near the wall, with George closely near them.

"What happens if she says no-"

"She won't say no, Cedric. She loves you." He declared, putting his hand on his shoulder.

George finally had enough, of just eaves-dropping, "You have something else to worry about it." 

Cedric smirked, "You? You're not a threat, she stopped loving you, can't you realize it?"

"Well, didn't she leave you, for me!?" He retorted, but Cedric just laughed.

"She wouldn't have to, if it wasn't for Lucius! do you even know, when you guys were dating, she found out the truth? She wanted to go back to me, but she didn't want to hurt you."

George laughed himself, "Doesn't that mean, she cares for me!?"

"Doesn't mean she loves you!" He replied.

George was steaming up, "Yes, she does!" He winded up his fist, but Bill had stopped him. Slowly, the top stopped raging at each other.

"This is a wedding. And George, Mei might love you." Cedric winced at this, but Bill went on, "However, Mei is with Cedric right now. They look like they're in love and Cedric cares for her and I've hear Mei talk to Fleur and she loves him back. If Cedric wants to propose to her, then you must leave him be."

George glared at both of them, "This isn't over." He then looked over at bill, "You're such a great brother." He walked away, kicking on of the chairs.

Once, George was out of site, Cedric pulled out the ring. bill smiled, "It looks wonderful, now go get her tiger."

Cedric laughed at the lame joke and headed towards Mei, "Sorry Luna, I will be taking her." Luna nodded and Cedric took Mei's hand and they went outside.

"What is it?" Mei asked, as Cedric nervously scratched his head.

He breathed once and began, "Mei, ever since I saw you, I knew there was going to be something special between us. something, I wished finally came a reality ever since the Yule Ball. Even, though we had some ruff times, I feel like you're the one-"

"Cedric, what is all this?" Mei asked, but Cedric ignored her.

"Mei, nobody can make me smile as you do. No one cares for me, as much as you do. I love everything about you and I hope you feel the same way. I know that we are young, but-" He kneeled and took the ring from his pocket, "It would mean the world to me, if you said yes and be my wife."

Mei stood there shocked. She couldn't believe this was happening to her. The person she loved most, was asking her to marry him. She thought only things on tv could be like this. She could feel the warm tears cascade down her eyes. She nodded slightly as, Cedric placed the ring on her finger.

He stood up and hugged her. Mei was still crying, when Cedric gently kissed her forehead. Suddenly, something rang in Mei's head and she let go of him.

"Cedric are you sure about this? What will people say? You work for the ministry and I'm just a hogwarts student."

Cedric smiled, "You are in your seventh year. Remember, once you graduate. you're finally mine! Mei I don't care when we get married, all I want to know is that you're mine and forever will be."

More tears went down her eyes, "Do you really love me?" Cedric nodded, "My mom will cry once she finds out."

"My mom too-" Suddenly, something crashed into the tent, shocking the two.

"What just happened!?" She asked.

"Just stay with me!" He declared, as they headed inside to see what happened.

Chapter 47 - The Wedding

Mei was too late. George and Fred had already came upstairs. George of course directed his eyes to Mei, but she only looked away. However, George sat on the floor with the the two boys and Fred joined the two girls on the bed.

"What are you two doing here?" Hermione asked, as Harry, Ron, and George played with one of their new products.

Fred smirked, and looked over at Mei, "You didn't want to see us?"

She blushed, "You guys are never here early!" She protested, but Fred kept giving her a look.

Fred replied, "We are setting up for the wedding today." The two girls nodded and whispered to each other squealing, about the thought of the wedding.

Mei admired Fleur. Her hair perfectly lay on her shoulders, with the tiara on the top of her head. Also, the dress was magnificent.  It fit her so perfectly, she looked like a princess. She barely even had make-up, but she looked like she was glowing. Any girl would have been jealous.

"My daughter ez finally getting married." Fleur's mom wiped away the tears, that trickled down her cheek, as she hugged her.

Ginny came skipping in, "Are you ready?" Fleur nodded automatically.

Mei hugged Fleur and headed to her seat, which was right beside Cedric, "Thank god, you're here."

"Why do you ask?" As, Bill went down the aisle.

"I couldn't see George so, I thought he whisked you away." Mei punched him lightly, even though she wanted to hit him harder. 

After, Gabrielle, Fleur's sister and Ginny went down the aisle, everyone stood up. Music began playing, and Mei could see Bill smiling from ear to ear. Fleur gracefully glided down the aisle and once she came to the alter, she was already in tears.

The ceremony was very beautiful. Mei couldn't help, but cry as Fleur's family and the Weasley family started to tear up. She could also see Cedric, getting a little teary eyed. It was one of his best-friends after all and Fleur's was her. She laughed, as she remembered Fleur dancing with Roger, or flirting with her own boy-friend.

Finally, the ceremony came to a close, "You may kiss the bride." The two leaned in a kissed as, everyone cheered.

Together as husband and wife, they took their first steps down the aisle, as everyone clapped and cheered. Hermione came over to her, by the time the couple went inside the burrow to get ready.

"Come on, let's get ready." Hermione had pulled her into the burrow to get ready for the reception.

Everyone was dancing! The happy couple was in the middle, with Mrs. Weasley and Mr. Weasley dancing closely near them. Harry was talikg to Luna, and Hermione was just staring at Ron.

"Go ask him!" Mei nudged her, as she looked away blushing.

"But Viktor asked me to dance with-"

"You and Ron are practically dating! Besides, don't you love him-" Mei was caught of guard and she was soon taken by Cedric to dance.

Mei looked over at Hermione, and she was just laughing, "Cedric that was rude." She protested, but was shut up by a kiss.

"Mei, this is your last year at hogwarts, until you are finally all mine." Cedric declared.

She just blushed, "That sounds really weird, when you say it that way." She cuddled into him, "But at least we will be together."

As Mei cuddled into him and closed her eyes, Cedric looked over at Bill, who was smirking, "Wait one minute."

Sorry, I haven't been updating (^^; I just get so busy! Also, yesterday was my birthday~ So, I couldn't really update until now. Even, though there was spring break, I was still busy 

Chapter 46 - Home

"Wake-up, honey." Mei cooed, as she sat on Cedric's bed, with a tray of food.

Cedric who was still sleepy, since he had been working so hard at the ministry, rubbed his eyes and stood up. He took the tray and began eating. Mei patiently waited, since she had ate already.

Mei gently ran her hair through his soft brown hair, "Look at you-"

"Stop." Cedric interrupted her, as he got another spoonful of cereal.

Mei sighed, "Cedric, I've been living here for the past three weeks. You're sleeping less now, and working so much. you must stop." 

Cedric groaned, pushing the tray on his bed stand, "I'm going to take a shower." Removing the blanket, which covered him.

He trudged silently to the washroom with his clothes and towels. Again, Mei sighed. She couldn't see Cedric like this anymore. He was always so sleepy, and she could never spend time with him anymore. All she could do was stay alone in the Diggory house or walk over to the Burrow.

Of course she picked the Burrow, since two of her best-friends were there, Also, it didn't hurt that George was barely there, because the busyness of the joke shop.

She could hear the shower finally turn on, and so she grabbed her coat, "I'm going to the Burrow if you need me. I might also go to Diagon Alley to buy a dress." She heard a slight 'uh-huh' and she turned around to leave.

"Mei, he is a working man now!" Hermione told her, as they sat under the big tree outside of the Weasley's home.

"But it's not goo for his health!" She retorted, "I already lost Draco, I don't want to loose someone else." she mumbled, but Hermione had heard.

She patted Mei's back, "Mei you've lost only one person. How do you think Harry feels? He lost Sirius, Draco, and Dumbledore. At least be happy that Cedric is still around, and your loving friends." Mei nodded timidly, "Besides, we have better things to do."

Mei shot up, "Like what?"

"Remember, Fleur is bringing us to Diagon Alley with Ginny and Mrs. Weasley to buy us dresses." Mei giggled, she had gotten a bunch of galleons.

"Mei! 'ermione! We're going!" Fleur called out. 

The two girls got up and rushed to the burrow, not to wanting to be left behind.

With bags in their hands, they had come back from a successful trip. They had gotten some dresses for Mei, Hermione, Ginny, and even Mrs. Weasley. It was also fun, since Mei had gotten some more books she had wanted and the ones she had gotten for school. To her surprise, Hermione did not.

"Hermione, that was a bad choice not to get your books today." Mrs. Weasley told her, as they set aside the bags in the living room.

She smiled, "Well, I'm still thinking." That's all she said, and Mrs. Weasley looked at her worriedly

However, her new focus was on the clock. It didn't tell time, but it told where each Weasley member was at the moment. Ron, Ginny, and Mrs. Weasley's was pointed at home. Bill and Mr. Weasley's were pointed at work. However, George and Fred's was pointed at travelling.

"Fred and George are coming!" Mrs. Weasley yelled.

Mei's eyes widen and she looked over at Hermione who was shocked as well. The two ran up the stairs, but Mrs. Weasley caught Hermione and made her put the bags into Ginny's room. Mei looking for Harry and Ron, looked in everyone room. When she finally got to Ron's room, she was relieved they were there.

"George and Fred are coming!"

"Great!" "Awesome!" the two said, but Mei punched them both.

"Not for me!-"

"HOME!" Two voices were heard from downstairs.

Seventh Year

This year has finally came, for Mei! It is her seventh year at Hogwarts, meaning she will graduate. However, with Voldemort in power, this year wasn't something she expected. Not to mention, a big surprise Cedric has placed upon her, at the end of summer, how will she react? Seamus seems to not stop, his love for Mei, and with the big news he has to do everything in his power to make her fall in love with him! There is also, Draco and Harry, who's relationship had broken, because of Voldemort. Will they ever re-unite? What will happen when the war is at it's peak? Find in this new chapter of Mei's life!
