Chapter 27 - Firework

Finally, the O.W.Ls had come and the fifth years were more nervous then when they first came into Hogwarts, getting sorted into houses. However, it seemed hard to study for the Gryffindors, who seemed to be disturbed by the objects made by the Weasley twins. 


Starting on Monday, Mei woke-up unusually grouchy. George had kept her up all night, with his silly pranks. Also, studying didn't help either. soon, she trudged outside, putting on her robe. Outside, were Harry and Ron sitting at a table, probably reviewing. From a distance Ginny and Ron were whispering to each other.


"What's up?" She asked, taking a seat.


Hermione turned her attention to Ginny, "Ginny likes Harry, but as you know he likes Draco." Mei nodded, however, suddenly a big firework came zooming towards the three girls and exploded right in front of them.


"George!" Mei yelled, but there was no sight of him.


Mei sighed, and again started her conversation with the other two girls. It lasted about thirty minutes, but it came to abrupt end with another explosion. Mei could see the tow boys laughing funning down the stairs. She headed straight to them.


"What are you doing?" Mei asked, stopping George in his tracks.


He smiled , kissing her, "Wait till the end of the exams."

A week had passed, meaning the first part of the O.W.Ls were done. It seemed all the D.A were going to get the top marks out of all the fifth years, with Harry and Mei leading, since they both conjured there full patronus, which was a stag and a fox. So, now the fifth years were still studying for, however Mei was one of the students, who had to study more.


Well, you didn't know? Mei used a time turner this year. She was going for eleven OWLs, not including Muggle Studies, since she was so good at it, in her old school.  So, whenever someone asked, if someone asked to go with them to the courtyard, she couldn't. Also, George had been wanted to take her out, but no. Like a true Asian she studied.

Mei sighed. She was almost done her test, but it didn't help that Professor- I mean Headmistress Umbrdige, kept coming up and down the aisles looking at people's papers for History of Magic. Umbridge got back to the front, with the huge clock going side to side. She furrowed her eyebrows, as if she heard something and headed outside.


Everyone started whispering, when she opened the door and a firework whizzed by her face, "Quiet!" She yelled, once it exploded, she again looked around.
Suddenly, two boys in their usual clothes, quickly went past her head. Mei was still finishing up her test, not knowing she was lift up, by George, who was throwing fireworks. 


"Would you mind helping?" He asked, as the flipped over, as threw more fireworks.


"Not at all." She replied and threw of them to Crabbe.


They had turned back to the door, after the mess they had made, and George dropped her down gently. Everyone started following the twins outside. Again, more fireworks were landing, a the students cheered. They hadn't doe anything as fun as this in a long time, since Umbridge was around. Mei cheered the loudest, as the flew into the air, making a big "W". 


"Go George!" She yelled, and if somehow George had hear her, he wrote in the sky, "I love you." Mei cooed and so did the girls around her.


Again, they flew up into a cloud as, still the students cheered. though, Umbridge had shoved all back inside or the risk of being expelled. Though, Peeve seemed to didn't care at all, as he too was now doing what George and Fred did.


Mei smiled, "When they get back, they will be in big trouble." Ron laughed.


"Come back, why would do that?"


"They're graduating!" Mei told him.


He smirked, "George, hadn't tell you, hasn't he?" Mei shook her head, "He's going to run a joke-shop with Fred. They're not coming back to Hogwarts."

Chapter 26 - Gift

"George?" Mei asked, as she came in from breakfast.

Harry had told her, George had been sad all week. He had overheard Mei and Seamus, and it felt horrible to her. She had to a talk with Draco and he said if he loved her, this wouldn't stop their relationship. Mei had to agree he was right, she was so stupid for thinking, that he wasn't going to talk to her was going tot stop their relationship.

"George- AHH!" Mei screamed, feeling a tingly sensation on her hips.

Mei turned around seeing George laughing at her, but instead of hitting him, her lip trembled and  her eyes watered, "I missed you!" She cried, jumping up to reach his shoulders.

Mei looked up slightly and George was smiling ear to ear, "I missed you." She whispered, still looking at him.

"I love you." Mei blushed, she barely heard him say it so serious, but smooth at the same time, "And I got you something." 

He had a swish wand movement and behind the book shelve a medium sized box was there.

It gently dropped on her hands and she opened it quickly. It was a picture, two of them smiling having fun at a Quidditch game. Mei was wearing the flower, George had given her. Slowly, she opened it and not another necklace, but a note on the top and two earrings. They looked like the golden snitch. 

Mei looked up, but George was smiling, "Say, joke." Mei nodded repeating what George said.

Suddenly, the golden snitch fluttered saying, George one and Mei on the other. Mei gasped, putting the earrings back in the case, and hugging Mei.

"This is so awesome!" She yelled.

"Just don't forgot, I will always be by your side. If you want to talk, I will always give you an answer." Mei smiled hugging him again.

"I love you." 

"I love you too." She responded.

Months had passed, the O.W.L's were coming up for the fifth year students, and Mei seemed to be getting an overload of work. Mei and her brother, studied all night in the RoR, but stopped to talk every few seconds. Also, did I mention, that Lucius didn't know anything about the adoption papers still.

"That's not the answer!" George told her one night, when he spotted her studying with Seamus.

"Bug off Weasley, you have to study for your NEWTS." Mei laughed, as Seamus said that.

George smirked, and surprisingly kissed Mei, making him all red with fury, "Jealous." George mouthed as he left.

Mei giggled, "Bye." However,Seamus glared at her.

"Get back to your work and tell me how to do this spell." Mei nodded.

"However, Seamus, what's with Dean, saying you have a picture of me and you on your dresser beside your bed?" Mei asked.

Seamus was shocked, he didn't know she knew. Was it Dean? Or did she overhear them? Amway, he did, but he wasn't going to tell her now, that he had the biggest crush on her. SHE HAD A BOYFRIEND! Seamus thought about it and finally found the right answer.

"I thought we were best-friends? Can't I have picture of you and me together, since you are best-friend?" 

Mei clasped her hands on her mouth, sighing, " That's so sweet!" She yelled, kissing Seamus on the cheek, like she regularly did.

Seamus could see George glaring at him. He spit out his tongue and mouthed the same thing George did to them.

Chapter 25 - Paperwork

"WE'RE ALMOST THERE!" Draco yelled, as he shouted looking out the window of the Hogwarts Expressed,

King's Cross station could have been seen and the students on board were getting ready. Mei had gotten her trunk and was ready to get off. She really just wanted to take some rest, since she had been thinking of George too much. Again, she wasn't talking with someone. Soon, the train came to a smooth stop and Mei and Draco headed outside with their trunks.

"Mom!" Mei yelled, running to her parents, they hugged her tightly.

Draco rushed over to her side, "Draco, you'll be staying with us. You guys just had to sign things, so your mother will be coming regularly. Our cover is that we are talking about wedding plans." Draco nodded.

"So, let's go." Her parents, got their trunks and the went to a corner of the station. 

Mei got a hold of her father's hand and Draco got a hold of her mother. They disapparated and soon enough they were at Mei's house. Mei smiled, sitting down on the soft leather couch. After, recieving some cookies, Draco's mother appeared.

"Draco, I'm okay with this, but are you?" She asked.

He nodded, "They are so nice and beside, you wouldn't be that far." His mother hugged him, making Mei tear up a bit.

They released each other and she kissed his pale forehead leaving a bright red lipstick mark. He grabbed the sleeve of his robe and cleaned it off. Mei smiled, and now turned her attention to Draco's mother, who was smiling.

She handed them the paperwork, "Your father signed it-" Draco and Mei jumped up and hugged her.

"However, your father. He insists that you two will be visiting the manor often." Mei sighed.

"Um... Mrs. Malfoy." 

"You can call me, mother if you like." Mei smiled, blushing.

"Mother, how did you get Lucius to sign it?" 

She smiled, "He thought they were forms for the wedding." Draco hugged her afterword.

"Now we have to sign it, right?" She nodded, handing over a quill and the paper.

"Ready?" Mei asked, and Draco nodded.

Draco signed first, and Mei could see his hand trembling. Mei smiled weakly looking at the paper. Would she actually do this? Make Draco her brother, because they didn't want to get married? He loved his parents, but it still would be fun to have a brother, who was like er best-friend. She took one breath and signed the paper.

Draco hugged her right after, "We're not going to get married!" 

"Actually." Mei's mom interrupted, "We have to give it to the Ministry to approve, just in case." She took the papers and disapparate.

"I wonder what we could do over the summer!?" Mei asked, excited.

"You still need to visit me." The two nodded headed to Mei's room.

Once, they reached the top of the stairs, Mei screamed. Draco looked curiously at her, but she had just rushed back down to her trunk that, was just laying there. She opened it quickly, grabbing all her books. Again, Draco looked at her curiously.

"I forget! We have O.W.L in a few months and I'm testing for ten of them!" Draco gasped himself, and took his won books from his trunk.

After, a few days, Mei's mom hadn't came back. Although, the two didn't notice by the costant trips to the Malfoy Manor or the studying they did. However, by the end of the week, she had came back with a smile on her face.

"You're my son now!" She had squealed, hugging Draco.

"My brother too!" Mei continued, joining the hug.

"I can't wait to get back to school and tell everyone, of course Harry too!" Draco yelled.

Chapter 24 - Shamrock

"WHAT?" Mei had yelled, when she had met Draco outside near the Forbidden Forest on Saturday.

Draco nodded, "Mother says, together with your parents we have to go back to England." 

"How about your father!? Once, he sees both of us, he will be planning for our wedding!" She groaned.

"We are not getting married, we just have to England for our Easter break. It will be okay." Draco told her, "So, pack we ae leving on Monday like some other students." Mei nodded.

Mei noticed some students going outside in his swimming gear, even though of the cool weather, "Draco let's go swimming!" However, Draco shook his head.

"Got a date with Harry. So, just hang out with Diggory or something." Mei waved goodbye, but felt sick when he said Diggory.

The two hadn't talk, since she told him, that he might have had feelings for the tall Weasley twin. However, it seemed he was having fun with his fake girlfriend, Cho. Sighing, she ran into the castle. A red spark zoomed past her head, as she went pass a corner.

"George." She mumbled, as a couple of Gryffindor students set out more.

Gracefully she walked to the Gryffindor common room. Smiling to everyone she knew and smirking once she had seen Marietta. However, made a slight going to the courtyard instead. She saw George there with Fred, as usual and ran up to him. She jumped and hugged him, but he just shoved him away.

"Sorry, I'm too busy." He mumbled, whispering to Fred about something.

"It's really important!" Mei yelled, getting up and dusting off her robe.

"I said, I'm too busy!" He retorted.

"Can't you come with me over the Easter break?" She asked, knowing she would need some help with the whole Draco thing and it would be nice if her parents met the guy she loved.

George glared at her, the first time he had ever, "Mei, you and I both hate Umbridge so, just let me do my work!" He yelled angrily.

Mei stood there in shock, shaking, she had never been yelled at by George, one of the nicest person she knew, "I hate you!" She said out of nowhere, heading towards a group of hufflepuff students.

Her eyes were focused on Cedric, and once she reached him, she hugged his waist. She was already in tears, and the group around him, disbanded. Cedric patter her back gently, and tried to make her avoid George, who was coming to them.

"Mei, please. I didn't mean too." He pleaded.

She made a fierce glare at George, "Leave me alone." She told him.

"Maybe, you should go to your common room. Seamus!" He yelled and the short sandy haired boy came running and now Mei hugged him, "You should be lucky." Cedric declared looking at George.

Although, George couldn't take his eyes off Mei, who was not hugging Seamus, "She said she loved you, you better be happy." Cedric sternly said, leaving him there.

Once, George and Fred had came back, doing their usual pranks. Fred had sat beside Angelina, like always, but George was hesitant to sit beside Mei. She was talking with Seamus, tears all gone, but she seemed not her usual self.

"Here." he heard Seamus say, giving her a small box.

She unwrapped it and inside was a golden chain necklace with a green shamrock on it. Mei gasped, admiring it, and soon hugged Seamus. SHe kissed him, and turned around, as he helped put on the necklace.

"It's so wonderful! I can't remember the last time I go a gift." She again admired the necklace.

"Doesn't George give you stuff?" Mei nodded, but sighed.

"The last time he had given me something was the rose. We've been dating for almost the whole school year and I love him. He tells me he does, but I fell he doesn't." Mei looked down to her feet, Seamus hugged her.

"It's okay." He smiled, and George ran away seeing another tear run down her cheek.

Chapter 23 - Adopt

"A brother, what does this have to do with anything?" Mei asked, opening up the book she had just gotten.


Cedric sligtly got the book and pushed it down so Mei wasn't in eye contact with it. Mei glared at him and laid on her back, again reading the book. Cedric soon laid beside her, but Mei rolled over to her side.


"Mei listen-"


"I don't have a brother, so you can forget about it." She told him, but Cedric still wanted to say it.
"What happened if Draco is your brother!" Cedric yelled.


Mei looked at him with curiosity, "In the wizard world marrying your brother is an awful thing."


"I hear purebloods marry their cousin, just to maintain that staus."


"Yes, cousins, but brothers and sisters." He told her, So, if you make Draco your brother-"


"Than, I wouldn't have to marry him!" Mei continued and hugged him.


Mei smiled, running to the back entrance. Sneaking from the squad, she took Draco into the room. Draco was too amazed by the work of Cedric. Soon, they talked about it, they would be so grateful if they were siblings. They were already best of friends, so siblings wouldn't hurt.


"Wait!" Draco yelled, as the talked about how they could share a room together, "How are we going to do this?" 


"Your mom wouldn't mind signing it right?" Mei asked.


Draco nodded, "She doesn't like that fact  my father is doing this, so yeah."


"Then." Mei continued, "You need to ask your mom to try to make your father sign it." Suddenly, beside them a quil, ink, and a piece of parchment was beside them. "Write a letter."


Draco took it and when he was done, an owl appeared before them and a window. They tied to it's leg and it went off. Mei smiled, loving this plan. She went back to talking with them, about what would happen if Draco was her brother.

That morning the owls kept swooping down, more than ever. Even, Mei had gotten a letter from her parents, getting a letter from Draco's mother. Her parents agreed and even had gotten papers signed to give to Draco.


"Mei!" Cedric had yelled across the room.


She nodded, heading towards them, even though George had been glaring at him the whole time she walked towards him. They headed outside, where Draco was here sitting. They crouched beside him and started reading the letter.


Dear my beloved son,
Finally, you have found a way. Of course I will sign it, but it will be pretty hard too. I don't mind giving you off to the Kuran's, they are a great pureblood family. Though, you must visit me all the time! Send me that paperwork when you get it.
Love,

Your Mother

 

P.S I've told Mei's parents about this plan.


"Here." Mei had given him the paper her parents had given her.


Draco smiled, "Great! I will go send it, leaving you two alone to do whatever you want." He winked at them, running.


Cedric took a lock of her air and put it behind her ear, as he usually did before he kissed her. He leaned forward, ready to kiss her, but he felt the soft small hand's of Mei on his lips.


"I can't." She declared.


"What do you mean?" Cedric asked, trying to kiss her, but she still ha her hands on his lips.


"I think, I've fallen in love with George." Cedric stared at her, sighing.


"Do you still love me?" Mei nodded, timidly.


She looked down, and headed back into the hall. Again, she sat down beside George, leaning on his shoulder. Mei saw Cedric slumping inside, his eyes focused on her. She couldn't take it, and felt she never should have said that, but it was always on her mind. Though her heart broke when the thought of her picking between the two.


"George, I love you." She declared, almost everyone who were near them stared at her.
He blushed madly, "I love you too, Mei." She kissed him on the lips and started eating her breakfast again.

Chapter 22 - Found

"I hate her, I hate her so much!" Mei had been walking back and forth in the common room.


George hugged her trying calm down his girlfriend. However, the rage inside her wasn't coming down. Mariette, one of Cho's ravenclaw friends, had told Umbridge about their secret meetings. What was worst some of the members couldn't't escape and now Harry was somewhere off in the castle with Umbridge, probably going to Dumbledore's office.


"I swear if I get my hands on her, I will-"


"You can't do anything." Harry came through the door with other Gryffindors.


Mei rushed his side, "I bet Dumbledore won't stop me."


"She is still a teacher, Mei." Hermione retorted.


"Also, she is now our Headmistress." Everyone gasped, now whispering of what he had just said, "It's ture, Dumbledore is gone, he told that it was his idea and he vanished."


"I HATE HER EVEN MORE!" She yelled, receiving another hug from George, "Will I be able to go to the room still, Draco and I are almost done! We might have found a way." She lied, replacing Cedric's name with Draco's.


She stormed out off the common room and headed to the RoR without anyone responding. Once, she reached it no one was there expect the Inquisitorial Squad, which Draco had to be part of because of his father. Passing Goyle and Crabbe without any problem she reached Draco.


"Can you make a distraction?" Draco nodded and called the Squad over.

"We have a new member here, Mei Kuran of Gryffindor!" She yelled, making Mei shocked.


Pansy, her hands on her hips, "Her? Yeah right! I bet she wants a make-out spot with George." 


"Professor Umbridge told me to check he place out!"


"We did that already." She retorted.


Mei smirked, "She doesn't think you did a good job!" The door had appeared after what she thought of what she needed. 


She entered the room and again the books had appeared all around the room. She looked at one of the shelves and looked at the highest shelf. She jumped up and down, but something seemed to work and what was worst there was no ladder or stool appearing. She jumped one more time and she felt hands on her hips lifting up her to reach the book.


"Cedric! What? How? But-"


"The room had made me a room to find in." 


"Then, how did I get it?"


He smiled, "Because we were looking for the same thing. Also, I think I found what we can do." 


Mei excitedly smiled. "What is it?" 


"Do you want a brother?"

Chapter 21 - The D.A

"He's back?" Harry nodded slightly, as snow slightly went on the window.

Suddenly, everyone had stood up and headed t the sheet of parchment, to sign up for their new DADA. Everyone chattered, having this could mean being expelled or other punishment. Though, it seemed Mei didn't care for a world, she still was with George, but she knew the truth. Thinking she would like less of George, because of Cedric, but it didn't happen.

Mei smiled, grabbing a hold of George's hand, "This is going to be great."

"All student organizations are henceforth disbanded-"

"That witch!" Mei yelled, once the announcement had been on throughout the castle.

George laughed, "She is a witch." He smirked, and she punched his arm.

"I didn't mean it like that! How could she find out? Now we have to find a place, that will be even more secretive!" She told him, slouching in her seat in the common room.

Suddenly, a flustered Neville came running in. Even, though it seemed to that he had run more than a mile, he was smiling happily. He headed towards the golden trio, whispering. Mei knew it was something about the new DADA, but she wouldn't say anything, while there were people who could spill it to Umbridge at any second.

"Mei, George! Stop snogging and come here!" Fred had called, after a few minutes Neville had came.

With Mei on George's back, they followed harry, Ron, Hermione, Neville, and Fred to the seventh floor. Neville ran to an empty spot on the wall, passing it. Suddenly, a dark door formed, and they entered inside.

"You've done it, Neville. You found the room of requirement!" Hermione told him, making him smile.

As the group was talking, Mei wondered on. It was huge and she smiled, knowing this would be the best spot for training sessions. She set, a few paces, and suddenly, a bookshelf was placed in front of her. She took one done, and it was all about weddings.

"Wow, you are right, Hermione." Fred declared, looking at the other books, which could help Mei with Draco, "It gives whatever you need."

"Except food." Hermione corrected, "So, when are we going to have our first training, Harry?"

However, Harry was also interested in the books, that were on the shelf. He too wanted to help, since he loved Draco. Though, with this new 'DADA' they rarely had seen each other.

"I think, we should start as soon as possible." Mei told her, still her eyes glued to the books, "Maybe next week." Everyone else agreed.

They all headed towards the door, but Mei stayed behind, still looking at the books. "Will you be okay here alone?"  Ron asked, as he was the last to leave.

Mei nodded. Once, he was gone, she too raced to the door. She ran out, leaving the Room of Requirements behind, but she didn't follow her fellow Gryffindors. She headed towards the Slytherin dungeon.

"Draco!" She yelled, when she had finally found him in the hall.

"What?" He asked, seeming excited.

"I found the perfect place to find out, how we don't have to get marry!" Mei got a hold of his had, running back to the Room of Requirements.

When she passed, where the door was, it appeared. She looked back to see Draco, his eyebrows furrowed. She smiled entering the room, this time a million of bookshelves covered the walls. Mei was amazed too.

"We got a lot of reading to do." He sighed, getting a book from the top shelf.

Everyday, until the D.A training started, Cho and Ginny had figured out the name at their first real meeting, Draco and Mei visited the Room of Requirements. However, they had to stop because, Draco wasn't part of the D.A. Why? He was friends with Slytherins, who have formed their group organized by Umbridge. Draco, unfortunately was a part of it, because of his father, and Mei was too almost.

Anyway, Draco had to stop coming, everyday to the RoR. He didn't even know the D.A existed, though Cedric helped her. Everyone, knew they had finally became friendly, but were not dating. Everyone, expected that they would date, and George, who seemed to be jealous all the time, was going to get kicked to the curb.

The meetings, came to a hault when someone seemed to have ratted them out.

Ugghh....school...is it just me or i was too lazy to write an ending. Yeah...it isn't just me who noticed :S

Chapter 20 -The Truth

Like fire the news of George and Mei spread quickly. Almost everyone knew, however many people were against it. Ravenclaw and Gryffindor students loved the couple. Slytherin's liked Mei and Draco, after the rumor had spread out last year, that they were going to marry. and of course Hufflepuffs supported Cedric and Mei together. 

Though, time went quickly and it was already November. Two months and still people weren't sure about the new couple. Although, people wee paying their attention onto Professor Umbridge, who was giving the most boring DADA class ever. Even, History of Magic was better. At least, Hermione had a plan, which included Harry. 

But let's get back to Cedric and Mei. Mei still had feelings for him, but if Cedric did, no one could tell except his Hufflepuff roommates. They barely spoke with each other, and when they did it was only limited to 'hello' or 'thanks'. It also seemed that Cho was trying to get Cedric back. Even, trying to make hi jealous by Harry Potter.

Let's get to Seamus now. Still, Mei was oblivious of his feelings for her, even though he tried harder now. and he rarely spoke to Harry Potter. Only, when they were in the library helping Mei and Draco find a way not to marry each other, which made them result in looking for muggle ways too. Since, they wouldn't dare use an Unbreakable Vow.

"We should give up for tonight." Draco declared, as he gathered his things and already near the door.

Harry went up kissing him, "Yeah, Hogsmeade is tomorrow, and I need to do something important."

Everyone else nodded heading to their rooms, "Aren't you coming, Mei?" George asked, as she was the only one not moving.

"I think I'll stay up a little longer." George nodded, heading towards the door with the rest.

Giving another big yawn, she flipped to the next page, "I can always run away." Mei said, reading the book in front of her.

"He'll just find you, and I would be torn if you did." Mei turned around swiftly, but no one was there.

"Who's there?' She asked, just to make sure, she wasn't going insane because of lack of sleep.

From behind a book shelve, Cedric came. Smiling, something he didn't do for a while in front of anyone. Mei gasped, trying to collect all her things, but Cedric had reached her. He smiled, but Mei just glared at him.

"I missed you."

"Well, I haven't." She replied.

"I bet you have. I've seen your eyes, when you're with him. You are not happy, and so am I." 

Cedric took the chair, that used to be occupied by George, Mei turned away, "Mei, I love you."

Mei blushed, but patted her face so it would go, "Then why did you leave me?" She asked.

"Reasons." 

"See!" She yelled, thanking that the librarian wasn't there, "You wouldn't even tell me, if you loved me-"

Cedric placed a hard kiss on Mei. She loosened a bit after a few seconds, but pushed him off realizing she was with George now. Mei was bright red, and Cedric smiled, knowing he was right.

"W-why d-d-did you do that-t?" She asked stuttering, hands still clasping her red cheeks. 

"didn't know how to make you stop talking, to tell you what happened." Mei nodded slightly, and Cedric sighed, "It went like this."

-Flashback-

"You should tell Mei we're going out for a bit." Cedric's mother told him, since they were going to meet his father at a store to pick-up something he had ordered.

"I already made her a note." He smiled, looking at Mei who was still sleeping quietly on the bed she shared with Cedric.

His mom also smiled, linking arms with her son. They headed outside of their hotel, going to the busy streets of New York City. Cedric, loved seeing muggles, doing what muggles did, since he never lived hear one. He smiled, seeing a little girl getting an ice-cream with his father, who look fairly young.

"I wish I had a kid." He said out of nowhere.

His mom giggled, "Maybe if it goes good with Mei, you will get this wish." He nudged his mom, as they entered the store.

No one was in there, so they headed even farther back into the store, knowing that his father wouldn't be anywhere else. Although, once they reached the back the door closed behind him, and faint light shown at his father, who's wand was on another table.

Suddenly, someone had gripped his mother and himself, before they could pull out their own wands. "Tie them!" I cold voice was heard in a darkness, and ropes were flying from a far corner onto their arms and legs, tying the family together.

"What happened?" Cedric looked at his father.

He sighed, but a tall man with long blonde hair was standing in front of them, with a familiar looking boy tied up beside them, "I'm sorry." The boy cried, and he instantly knew it was Draco and his father.

"Where is Mei?" He asked softly, but no answer came from the family, "WHERE IS SHE!?"

"WHY SHOULD I TELL YOU? She responded to all your letters."

"Well." He began, "I realized your the person stopping Mei from marrying Draco, so I've decided to break you two up."

"NO!" Cedric yelled, ripping part of the rope, trying to punch Lucius.

He smirked, "Well, then if you don't. I'll be happy to ruin your lives." Cedric stopped, his eyes wide open, making Lucius smile, "The Dark Lord is rising to power, and wouldn't it be awful to see your house filled with some items from the Dark Lord?"

Amos smirked, "Yeah, and how can you do that?"

"I have many of those items, I don't mind giving to you." He started laughing. "I don't know how much that will land you in Azkaban, so her or your family Cedric?" 

Looking at his family in worried eyes, "You won't hurt her, right?" 

"If you don't tell anyone in the ministry or linked with it, she'll be okay." Cedric nodded, making him smile, "Good, because already have gotten in your hotel room, and packed your bags. Go back to England." 

"How about Mei?" Draco voiced was heard.

Lucius smiled, "She already knows, I wrote her a note." With that said, the family with their bags, and were dragged out.

Mei was in tears and now hugging Cedric, "I fully understand, you love your family, but you could have apparated out of there.

Cedric shook his head, "I did thought of that, but I was scared they were going to hurt you." Mei hugged him tighter, tears flowing more quickly, "You can't tell anyone."

Mei nodded, "So, when you said you loved me."

"It was all true." Mei smiled, leaning closer to him, but stopped.

"I can't be with you now, then."

"Why?" Cedric asked, confused that she still wouldn't be with him. 

Mei looked down at her feet, "It will put your family in danger again, and-" She stopped thinking of George, "I can't do it to George. I'll hurt his feelings, so maybe you should start dating Cho again. Just until we find a way, you can be a big help."

Cedric nodded, "Understood, but can I-" He leaned closer to Mei, kissing her on the lips, knwoing it would be their last until they find a way to stop Lucius.

"I love you." Cedric declared, as he left Mei alone in the library one again.

Not even one chapter, and it seeems George and Mei will break-up. Forgive me.....

Chapter 19 - Gei? Meirge????

"Can't we just talk?" The feast had already ended, and everyone was headed toward their rooms,except Cedric and Mei.

"Why should we? You are the one who broke up with me!" Mei yelled, trying to get away, but her feet wouldn't let her.

"I love y-"

"Don't you dare finish that sentence! Someone, who loves me wouldn't leave me in a county far away from my own. Not even telling it to my face! And beside didn't I tell you, I have a boyfriend!" She yelled, as she got closer to the painting.

Cedric smirked, "Draco, doesn't count."

"It's not him!" She retorted, as he caught a hold of her hand.

"Then who is it?" At that moment, George had came, talking loudly with Fred and Lee Jordan, who were at his side.

Mei pointed at George, and got out of his grip. heading towards the tall red head. She got a hold of his hand, and once he turned around, she pulled his arm, making him go shorter. When, finally George was roughly around her height, Mei kissed him. Butterflies formed in her stomach as, her face started to turn bright red.

Mei had to tell the truth, but she really didn't want to let go of him, but they did, "See, we're dating!" Mei yelled, getting George's hand and running to the Quidditch change rooms. Once, they got there, they sat at a bench together not knowing what to say.

"Y-you." George stuttered, Mei nodded, she also couldn't believe she actually kissed him out of the blue, just for Cedric.

Scratching the back of her head, she leaned forward again, this time George stopped her, looking curiously at her, "What are you doing? You like Cedric, right?"

Mei nodded, "But don't you like me back?" There was a long pause in between, until it seemed George finally got it.

"GINNY!" He yelled, making her giggle, "Wait!?" He shot back up, "What do you mean, 'back'?" He asked.

Mei looked away blushing, "Cedric broke my heart, that gives me a reason to start something with you. I-if it's alright."

"O-" George stopped himself.

He knew the truth, the truth why Cedric 'broke up' with Mei for. What happened if that person, found out that Mei was dating him? His family would be in danger, and Cedric probably, be is worst enemy after this. However, didn't he love her?"

"Can i think about it?" He asked, getting closer to the door.

Mei nodded, as he went out first. she had just re-thought what had just happened. Did she really ask, George, to be her boyfriend. Didn't she love Cedric, George said that himself. Mei sighed, saying the new password for the common room. She saw that, a crowd of Gryffindors had formed and were surrounding a leaving Harry. Also, Ron and Seamus gave deathly glares each other. Instead of getting involved, she headed into her room. Slowly, she got ready for her class the next day.

"What do you mean, you might be dating my brother!?" Ron yelled, as the headed toward there History of Magic class.

"Ron." Hermione began, "She can't date whoever she wants. It doesn't mean, she can't date your brother, even though you two are friends."

Mei sighed, "But, I sill love Cedric." She remembered what she had thought of last night.

"Then get his story, it's weird for you a fifth year dating a seventh year!"

"Cedric is the same year as, George." Harry retorted.

Mei giggled, "Fine, I'll just date you then, Ron."

"Why would you do that?" Hermione asked abruptly, but seemed flustered after, "Anyway, you can't date anyone! You have to figure out, how not to marry Draco."

"We lost someone's help." Mei looked to see Cedric looking at her, as they past him to the next class.

"I bet since we're helping you, Seamus is out of the picture-"

"No he isn't." Mei interrupted Ron, "He's helping, when you guys aren't."

"What?' Do you like him too?" Hermione asked, knowing the fat that Seamus liked her.

Mei snorted, "Yeah right, he can do so much better than me."

"Ugh, I don't want to be taught by that toad!" Mei heard Harry yelled, as they entered the classroom.

Sitting by Seamus, she waited as Professor Umbridge in her usual pink dress to come in. Everyone was chatting, except the so called best-friends, Seamus and Mei. He had seemed awkward with her ever since he had fought with Harry. She talked to him, and was friends, to him it seemed she was spending all her time with him.

"Can't you forgive, Harry?" Mei asked.

"He wouldn't answer me and he insulted me mam!" He yelled.

Mei glared at him, "You've been really grumpy lately, talk to me when you aren't!" She replied, heading towards the empty table at the back.

"I rather go back to Professor Sybil's Divination class, then go back to that ugly toad!" Mei screamed, with Hermione nodding in agreement. "It's just textbooks! No spells, no nothing, where is the defense part!"

"However, if the Ministry wants it to be like that, we have no power-"

"How about Dumbledore?" Hermione stayed quiet after, Ron's statement, though was also silent when George whisked away Mei.

Once, they were out of the golden trio's attention, he planted soft kiss onto her lips. People, passing looked at them, but the two didn't seemed to mind.

"You always want to make thing dramatic." Mei told him.

He laughed, "Well, you're special to me."

Chapter 18 - Feelings Revealed

"Hermione!" Mei had yelled once, the train had left the train station.

Hermione hugged one of the only girls she was friends with, other than Ginny, "How's your summer with Cedric?"

It seemed like a sharp knife had once again shot through her chest, at least Seamus came to Hermione, before Mei had to explain. She loved how Seamus would be by her side. He would make a boyfriend, Mei thought. However, she also thought he liked Lavender.

"That ignorant guy! A note, only a note!" Hermione yelled, Mei nodded, making her goran, "I hate boys-"

"How about Viktor?" Ron had came into their compartment.

Hermione glared, even though Ron just stood there, with a smile as usual. Mei smiled, the two obviously like each other, but Mei wouldn't tell Hermione that. She would explode, with reason she didn't or something like that. So, Mei and Seamus left the compartment joining Neville and Dean's, as usual.

"Mei, can you tell Neville, that I'm right?" Dean declared, once as she came in with Seamus.

"About what?"

"He thinks, Ginny is the prettiest girl at Hogwarts, but I think the Patil twins, who do you think is right?"

Mei crossed her arms, "Thank-you for not including me in your list!" Sighing as she sat beside Seamus.

"Well, you already got a vote from-"

"If you don't shut-up, I will rip all your posters!" Seamus interrupted Dean, making him laugh.

Mei giggled, heading outside to leave the three boys alone. As, she went down the train, she could see the worried and nervous first-years and the almost glowing seventh years. Though, she had to turn away, when seeing people snogging. It just reminded her of herself and Cedric. Like you don't know what couples do when there parents aren't there.

"Mei." that cooling voice she loved to hear, was ringing in her ear.

She turned around to see no one there, but a group of fourth year girls, all squealing, "Did you hear?" One girl whispered, enough for Mei to ear.

"Cedric and Mei broke-up!" That statement hit her like a ton of bricks, had just collapsed on her.

The girls had now moved on snickering, seeing Mei. Again, sulking she headed to the end of the train's compartment to see Ginny. She wasn't really friends with her, but Hermione was greatly friends with her. Opening her compartment which contained Luna Lovegood, a Ravenclaw she sat inside. Also, Harry was there, with surprisingly Neville.

"I see Neville, you've changed compartments." Mei declared sitting beside him.

He nodded shyly, "The two were fighting."

Mei looked over at Ginny, who seemed to be smirking, "What?" Mei asked, still looking at Ginny.

"Your the one all the boys flaunt over. I don't see why though, especially George." 

Mei cocked her head again to the side, making both Harry and Ginny laugh, "George hasn't gotten the courage yet?" Harry asked.

"What do you mean?" 

"He likes you!" Ginny yelled.

Luna smiled, "Even some of the Ravenclaws know. It's pretty obivous." 

Mei giggled, "Yeah right! I mean, why didn't he tell me?" 

"Cedric." Neville squeaked, making Mei sulk even more, but Neville's eyes widen, "I'm sorry! I forgot!" 

"It's okay, but are you sure he likes me?" All four of them nodded, "Then I got to go." 

Mei left the four, there. She felt so dumb for not thinking about it before. He always cared for her, and seemed to be most happiest when with her. He would always make her laugh, and was more red than his hair, when she kissed him, because he did something great. Also, he wanted to ask her to the Yule Ball so romantically, and seemed sulky at first when he found out she was dating Cedric. He had liked her! One of her best-friends! She seemed more dumb, after seeing him, with his friends.

"Mei-"

"What?" Mei was startled when, he had said for name.

He laughed, "Do you want to see what we just made?" 

"I-i'm fine!" She scurried off, feeling nervous that her own friend liked her, but if it was with someone else, she wouldn't act like this, but why him.

The train had stopped and everyone was going to get their stuff. Mei unfortunately, was on the other side of where she left her bag. So, she was one of the last people to go. Meaning, almost all the carriages were gone, by the time she got out. The only one left was one full of Seventh year hufflepuffs, including Cedric.

"Hurry on now!" Someone cried behind her, and she climb into it, heading to the farthest seat from Cedric.

"Look we have a fifth year with us! What's your name?" The guy beside her asked.

She looked away quickly, trying to hide from Cedric, who didn't seem to notice, "Mei Kuran, I see." Cedric shot his attention towards the guy.

"I wish I can apparate out of here!" She mumbled.

"Honey, you can't do that until six year, but Cedric can help you!"

Mei groaned jumping out, "I don't care about that scumbag, who dumped me in America! I already have a new boyfriend, by the way!" Before anyone could say anything, she ran towards the castle, as fast as possible, feeling worried what she had just said.
